Title: Conservatives Kicked Off Budget Committee to "Get a Deal"
Post by: Bronx on December 04, 2012, 04:17:41 PM
WTF...!  :cursing:

Ohio please for our country vote this fool out. The Speaker of the House is Obama's bitch plane and simple. I will never vote "RINO" again.

Representatives Tim Huelskamp of Kansas and Justin Amash of Michigan - both favorites of the anti-tax Tea Party movement - are among those Republicans voting most often against House Speaker John Boehner.

Is anyone truly surprised after the Establishment PUBS screwed over some of the Caucuses and then gave us the spectacle at the convention?

GOP leaders remove 4 from plum House committees

The move is underscoring a divide in the Republican Party between tea party-supported conservatives and the House GOP leadership.

"This is a clear attempt on the part of Republican leadership to punish those in Washington who vote the way they promised their constituents they would — on principle — instead of mindlessly rubber-stamping trillion dollar deficits and the bankrupting of America," said Matt Kibbe, president of the tea party group FreedomWorks.

So much for Conservatives Tea Party types changing the Republican Party from the inside. If this doesn't tell you that we desperately need a viable 3rd part, nothing will.

Rep.'s getting ready to cave, right?  Figured as much but not this soon.  Did you hear good ole' Harry make the "executive order" threat on the news last night?  Don't you just hate this mess?

forget a 3rd party--that would just make it easier for the dems to keep winning.

Unless you can wrangle the money away from the power brokers, a third party doesn't stand a chance.

I still believe we need to let Obama have his way and let the country see where this takes us. If we go over the cliff, the Pubs will get all the blame when the economy tanks next year (and it will regardless of the resolution of the "cliff"). Give him what he wants and let the Dems own this whole mess or otherwise we will be blamed and lose the house in 2014. Sticking to our no tax increase for the top 2% will put us in the position of appearing to favor the "rich" at the expense of the middle class and will lead to certain defeat and allow the Dems to continue to blame the Pubs for pandering to the rich (did anyone notice the Rasmussen generic party congress poll yesterday?). Look, I don't personally believe we are pandering to the rich but you know full well the cacophonous drumbeat from the left wing MSM will spin it that way, and successfully. This is our one and last chance to show the American people where this country is headed if they allow the Dems to hold the purse strings. Sometimes you have to amputate the leg to save the patient.
