If conservatives really want to get back into control they need to stick with what works from them, the economy.  Every single social issue I can think of needs to be thrown to the state level, and Republicans need to say that.  Could you imagine how humble and responsible the Republican party would look if they said this in a new platform.*

*This will never happen.

This has been a huge issue with me, the left has used every social like a club at the expense of the country.
And like fools, the GOP swallowed the hook in catering to the Religious right on every issue.

The left could care less about these issues, they only did it to gain power.

Exactly, it would be so great if we could throw it back in their faces by sending back to the states.  They couldn't touch us if they wanted to.

The reason Reagan was so popular, is that he ran against the government.

Most of our current batch of republicans can't seem to remember that.
