QuoteCongressional lawmakers have gone all in on President Trump's bid to slash Obama-era regulations, targeting $19 billion in rules and the elimination of enough red tape to free up 5,200 federal workers, according to a new analysis.

The cuts proposed by the House Appropriations Committee this week amount to a year's worth of regulations under the Obama administration, said the report from American Action Forum.

Analyst Sam Batkins wrote, "The suite of appropriations bills released this week goes further, curtailing more than $19 billion in total regulatory costs and eliminating 10.4 million hours of paperwork, the equivalent of eliminating all regulations from 2006 and freeing 5,200 employees from paperwork compliance."

His report, provided to Secrets in advance of its release today, said that the committee's funding bills target regulations in the areas of financial services, agriculture and energy. The biggest ticket item: "Repeal of the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill's Volcker rule, which originally estimated $4.3 billion in costs and 2.3 million new paperwork burden hours."

If the GOP get their finger out and send Obamacare to the heavily subsidized socialist heaven in the sky it will be as if Barry never was president.

What's it been now, not quite six months since Hairzilla actually took over? A year's worth of garbage tossed in half that time. Hmmm. There are still hundreds if not thousands of time-bomb regulations installed on the Kenyan's watch. (Poisoned bungee stakes in pits along the bureaucratic trail.)

Even at this rate, considering the opposition from RINO traitors as well as the usual leftists, it will still take Trump's entire eight years to get us even partway back to where we were when Obama finally left. Assuming CNN hasn't agitated someone into killing Trump in revenge for exposing their general worthlessness.

I'll grant you that part about seeming like the First Muslim's never having been (p)Resident, considering how Hussein's presidential library designers already say that he will have electronic copies and not hard copies of documents from his mis-administration. What Secretary of State problems? Where's Benghazi? And so on and so on, until the bulk-erasers and paper shredders won't have it. Manufactured history, just like CNN's.

He musta learned that from Hillary's people, or the same DNC refusing to let the Russian-influence investigators do their jobs by refusing a look at the DNC servers. But if we expect McConnell and other RINO clowns to ever do the right thing --- about health care or anything else --- forget it. They lost their spines the day they took office.
