Title: Commiecare Dies In New Tax Bill?
Post by: Solar on November 14, 2017, 03:06:17 PM
I used a (?) because I've yet to see the actual Bill.

Senate's GOP tax reform bill seeks repeal of Obamacare individual mandate
Senate GOP leaders said their tax reform bill will include repeal of Obamacare individual mandate
The mandate requires most Americans to have some form of health coverage during the year or pay a tax penalty.
An estimated 13 million fewer people would have insurance if the mandate were to be repealed, the Congressional Budget Office has estimated.

yeah... right... I'll believe it when I see it.   This is like asking these politicians to live under the laws they pass.

Yep, the trick is in the wording.

If you watch the video, the anchorbimbet claims that nearly 11 million will lose insurance if this occurs.

Now how does that figure?
If they are no longer forced to purchase something they didn't want in the first place, and still have the option of purchasing it anyway, how did they lose it?

God I hate libs!!!

It doesn't kill it but it severs its coronary artery. Less people will sign up if it isn't mandatory and with the economy improving more people will get insurance through employers than through the exchanges.

This of course is dependent on it actually making it into the final bill. The democrats will scream and stamp their feet but it's a losing battle. No one wants to be forced to buy anything.

Yes, it's a start. Now we need to gut its funding.

They do but Trump signed an EO prohibiting money being paid to insurance companies to subsidize their losses. That was a huge blow to Obamacare and repealing the mandate will be the end of it.

End of it until the MSM puts out a couple of people collecting free healthcare with big Doe eyes and says, "Congress is trying to kill these poor, helpless, sick folks..."   From there, it's a SPRINT to vote for a single payer system.

Lets see first if they can even pass a  bill. Ron Johnson is going to vote no unless its changed and several other senators hate Trump so much they would  love to see the congress go democrat in 2018.

Johnson will come around. Just another US senator looking for 15 minutes of fame.

He may but dont underestimate the hatred several have for Trump, especially McCain. While i rarely agree with Graham i agree that if this bill isnt passed the rep party will be destroyed. While it wont be missed it does mean in the next congress the fix for Obamacare will be single  payer and the fix for everything will be higher taxes, more regulation, and far higher spending.

Regardless of what the "Do Nothing Congress" does, at this point is irrelevant concerning Trump, the gop'E will be short 18 RINO, and that number is not done growing, be it attrition via retirement (cowardly defeat) or TEA tossing them out, the gop'E IS being purged of leftists in 2018.
These seats will not be filled by leftists, let alone with people not friendly to Trump's agenda, the nation spoke in 2016.

Now, I've asked in the past and you've failed to produce evidence of your arrogates as I do with all my claims.
Show me evidence beyond your emotional nonsense, how we will wind up with single payer.
You alluded to making the claim that single payer isn't possible without a Dim takeover, so back that shit up, show me hard evidence beyond an Opinion Piece as proof of your claims.

I'm done with your pessimistic bull shit, either back it up with actual facts, or find a different forum to puke your leftist shit on.

Sure, we all have opinions, and each and every person here is required to back up those opinions with facts!
WTF makes you so special, that you are somehow above the rest of the members and exempt from the policy we all post under?
We have no use for pessimists and whiners and that's exactly what you are.
So, get off your ass and back up your bull shit or hit the fuckin road, I'm dead serious!
