Since Cohen was Trump's attorney vowed to honor privilege, how is it that the government was able to collect documents from Cohen and Cohen able to testify about Trump?

There's a post on Fox that Cohen is now suing Trump for his legal fees - say what? Seems frivolous ... Cohen should now be fined. Wrong place, wrong time Mr. Cohen - when Trump was elected, you stepped into a whole new ballgame. Cohen is just a puppet the Dims will use then throw out like an old rag doll; he just doesn't understand that he just needs to shut up and get out of the line of fire.

In case you missed it, Cohen is a sleazeball.

As you say, Cohen seems contemptible. But the (secondary) point was that he found himself in the cross-hairs at a big game hunt for Trump. If I stole an apple I would be fined; if I worked for Trump and stole an apple I would be investigated for a couple years, drained of all my resources (financially ruined), and anything I may have done wrong would be amplified unless I could barter with some solid evidence against Trump. If I had none, they (Mueller and cronies) would make sure I ended up in jail for awhile. And if I kept kicking at them, they would probably find a way to add on af ew years. That was the (secondary) point.

What about the (main) question about Privilege? Any ideas?

Could Cohen have claimed attorney/client privilege? He probably could, but chose not to do so to try and save his own ass. That was his call. Hence confirming he is a sleazeball.

By law, Cohen wouldn't legally have the option to disclose his dealing with Trump under privilege.

QuoteIn the law of the United States, attorney–client privilege or lawyer–client privilege is a "client's right privilege to refuse to disclose and to prevent any other person from disclosing confidential communications between the client and the attorney." (Wikipedia)

So something must have invalidated privilege so that Cohen could disclose ... or there are some (including Cohen) that are guilty of violating Trump's rights.

I believe you answered the question. It is probable Cohen violated Trump's rights.

If that's the case, it's not just that Cohen violated Trump's rights. Those who are trying to lynch Trump forced / coerced Cohen to violate Trump's rights. Seems like Trump could put the screws to Mueller and those on the committee - screw up their lives for awhile and see how they like it.
