Just watched the whole thing. It's as if it was a comedy act and Bernie was the stooge in the act, setting Cruz up to knock it out of the park.
Bottomline here. Bernie an admitted socialist wants to raise taxes on everyone, while Conservatives want to cut Everyone's taxes.

Well, he was able to prove that tax cuts energize the economy, and painted Bernie as a tax and spender.
Whether or not that sank into the mush minds on the left is yet to be seen, but Cruz solidly won this debate.

Not only was Cruz able to focus on the fact that Bernie's a socialist, but I found it interesting that Cruz brought up the corruption that went on during the campaign to Bernie -- he's right of course and I find it great that Ted took the opportunity to point it out.
Cruz outclassed Bernie but the debate is a perfect example of why the conservatives have trouble with messaging. Cruz expertly talked about tax rates, deficits and all things numbers. But the only things the viewers will remember is "millions of people will lose their health insurance" "evil corporations" "People will die with this budget".
Emotion always trumps facts. Liberals have mastered the art of emoting.
