Karma is a bitch.  Sanchez drove drunk paralyzing a man after a football game in Miami.  He left the scene and came back two hours later.  The poor guy he struck ended up passing away after his life was ruined.  Sanchez didn't seem to care less about what he did rather about his own career.  He's the Cuban equivalent to Ted Kennedy it seems.
