"Cleared" in the same context I suppose as we know that the elder Jihadi brother in this case was "Cleared" by the FBI two years ago when they had INFORMATION from a foreign intelligence source.

I agree with all you say and remember, 500 plus LE searching all day couldn't find him.  The boat owner found him in the boat.  Had he been there all day?  We don't know.  It was only when residents were cleared to leave their homes did the boat owner venture into his back yard.  I'd also like to know how it is that they allowed him to escape last night. There was an entire battallion of LE there.
I guess if the boat owner hadn't found him tonight, he would have expired in the boat and maybe his skeleton would have been found when the boat was taken out for the first time this year.

Sorry.  I don't think they did such a great job.  IMO something will happen so that this kid never is questioned and never talks.  Just like the Saudi kid who is being shipped out.

And when foreign intelligence give information to our "Intelligence" that a particular person might be a danger to our country, it should be taken seriously.  Very seriously.  I wonder how thoroughly they did investigate him, if at all.

Bingo, this tells me that this guy had escape and evasion training and likely he had help.

Lessee, they 'Carjack' some guy, "let him go"... and then engage the cops in a running gun battle throwing home made grenades.

The younger guy "escapes"...possible... even probable if his brother
engaged cops so his brother could hightail it.

BUT there is some indication the escapee was wounded...now how did he get ten miles away, wounded with hundreds of cops looking for him...

gee you think he might have had help?

They didn't Mirandize him , and are supposed to be holding him as an enemy combatant. How long that will last before the usual suspects show up whining about his rights is another thing altogether. But they are looking into his "associates". Notice how quickly the uncle distanced himself from them?
