And by implementing it led to:

QuoteSchumer blamed the push for the Affordable Care Act so early in Obama's first term for the rise of the tea-party movement, which destroyed the Democratic majority in the House in 2010 and went on to—long with a number of other missteps by the federal government, including implementation of the law—oust the Democratic majority in the Senate as well in 2014.

Granted, it was one of many Marxist blunders, but it would appear that some on the left get why they got their asses kicked by a movement they claimed to be dead.
You know, if he gets it, the rino definitely get it.

The Affordable Care Act was not the first nail in the coffin or the last.  But it was a big one.

I'm sure Chuck is still a staunch supporter of KenyaCare. He's just recognizing the obvious in that it was handled poorly in a political sense -- bad timing, mainly. Just as with all the Dem senators we sent packing, his was 'the 60th vote' for KenyaCare.  :tounge:

Much of politics is HOW things are done...Perception is Reality!

Obama was a JUNIOR SENATOR in a club where seniority is not all, but much of what matters!  Those Senators who served with "junior" probably agreed with Bill Clinton's remarks of (then) Sen. Edward Kennedy.."A couple of years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee "

I am sure, not all Liberal Democrats, who want single payer universal healthcare, agreed with Obama's heavy handed "audacity of arrogance" approach.  They may have gone along to get along and now Obama's chickens are coming home to roost!

We will see more of this going forward. Democrats see what following Obama like lemmings has gotten them and the party.

Yeah, sounds like it to me as well.  Why is this latest bit coming at such a late date, why not a couple of years ago?  Kinda' like crying over spilled milk now.

Ya know the best way to get a feel for what the Dims might do next? Is to put ourselves in their shoes. I did and it was like taking every rino scandal ever committed, times 2000.
Can you imagine being responsible for assisting the a dictator in his attempt to destroy the nation?

The Dims know they're culpable. But many (not meaning you) look at it like we expected them to act as if it's only a speed bump, because rino always let them off like a spoiled child, only this time the child set fire to the entire city.
When in truth, the Dims are in panic mode, most are literally considering resigning or speaking out against all that's happened, while the leadership threatens to destroy what little credibility they had left if they leave.

This is why I believe Shumer was chosen to speak out, kind of buffer things in a muted kind of manner while using the NY Times, of course.

I see this as a raging fire within their party, and Shumer has the only fire hose big enough to piss on it.
Will it do any good? NOPE!
All they managed to do was expose just how bad things really are within the party.

quiller

Obama pissed on Big Labor by denying the Keystone Pipeline, and pissed on younger voters with lower incomes least able to support Obamacare payouts (tax hits), and then betrayed black voters whose jobs are threatened by wetback intruders.

For race-baiter jackoffs like Obama or Sharpton, selling Obamacare to those least able to afford it is a stretch even the most hardened pol might find difficult to pull off. Let the financial pain sink in every paycheck. Let those young disenchantees sit back and ask, "Why should I be ordered to get insurance? Who the hell do they think I am, a child who MUST do what he's told?"

Let them hear an empty room trying to deny that's exactly what Democrats do. They are better than everyone else and you will submit to their will or you will be sorry forever, end of statement. You will enrich insurance companies because the guy you voted TWICE for just sold your ass down the taxpayer's Tigris.

Ah me. How do we undo this, given the spineless swine in the GOP? How can we trust a party that keeps Boehner in charge? Lord of Abraham, loose the locusts on D.C. and be done with them!

RINOs gained ground gubernatorially, excepting for some fool named Nixon who listened to His Muslimness and forgot to call in the National Guard for the Fall Prom season in Missouri. Overall, the Party of Cave gained against the Party of Treason. For Hussein the Magnificent, Lord of the TelerPrompter™, it was less than a stellar year.
