Trump's been gutter fighting in NYC cut-throat business for 40 years. I don't think he's naive-weak. I think he was naive to the utter lack of morals of most everybody in DC. Even in the hyper competition of NY and construction / media / entertainment / etc., he's used to people doing knock down drag out fights but walking away with a modicum of decency, dignity, and professionalism. Even some partnering after one guy wins and one guy loses. And expect to go at it again soon.
He just didn't anticipate the abject lack of dignity and professionalism in DC, where nothing really matters except destroying the other guy for good. He didn't realize that there are dirty pricks who are trying to kill his presidency from day 1, from within his own party and his own White House / Congress / Judiciary.
So now he knows. And hopefully there's some hard shitty payback coming.
And I'm on the fence with Sessions. I'm suspicious whenever he doesn't do shit to burn the obviously guilty, which is many times now.

I just think that somebody with his previous ethics and identity, accomplishments and reputation, would not suddenly become this.
So my thoughts for now would be that it's a false impression, cultivated purposefully. Toward a greater end.
I could be wrong on that too. The closer we get to letting Mueller get too far in damaging / derailing Trump, and affecting the fall elections against Trump, the worse I feel about my hopes. We are in the window right now, and it's not a large one.
