Quiller,

Congrats to our conservative forum member for writing a book.  I don't know of any other forum that can boast of this event about one of it's members.  Good luck with your (hopefully) next offering.  I'm presently waiting on hubbie to install my windows version of the kindle reader and will get back to you with my humble opinion of your book.

Thanks for your kind words. I don't know how many MESSAGE FORUM folks have any sort of e-book out, but the bloggers are certainly active (particularly political nonfiction).

The Kindle format is exclusive to Amazon but their reader for the PC or for Mac is very easy to install, and it's not insanely hard to use like some software out there. They also offer a full spread of add-ons for electronic hand-held readers and the like.

Please be advised there is strong language in parts of this book. I say this as an advisory to family-oriented readers (who may not wish such fare to be on-screen if their kids are present).

I guess I will be buying a kindle..

HE LIVES!!!!

Not unless you were already planning to. You can get adaptive software for reading it on a PC or on a Mac, or almost any other hand-held. Right-hand-drive for Cardiff is optional.....

I might do that. I never bought a kindle because I like seeing the books on my shelves. I have almost every book I have ever read.  I read the write up on Amazon and it looks very interesting.  Almost as interesting as little Ricky's critique   What a total buffoon.  Either way I'm gonna buy it.

After the 90-day exclusivity expires with Amazon, I'm free to explore print-on-demand options. I haven't kept a fraction of what I've ever read, simply for storage reasons, but I sympathize with those more comfortable with a physical volume.

I didn't read Ricky's remarks, other than to establish he was looking out for my very bestest well-being, even if he had to flatten my head to listen. (Or something like that. Belligerence and ego in the usual proportions, alas.)

Yes to a point, they, like all computers abstain from alcohol.
Question is, will Boo ply this one with spirit as well?

Not precisely true. The Demon Reviewer did say he read the first page.

I told Admin he should buy Ricky a copy. Odd thing --- he didn't reply....

Well Lamont is a tightwad and Rick has no money of his own.

True. I did suggest Lamont could write it off to charity. (I should talk to the IRS about that....)

That's almost as sad as trying to convince the forum he makes a living selling his art.
