OOOPS!!!
CBS didn't expect the results.
CBS News recently hired an accountant to test the tax reform bill. They had him look at the tax returns of three different families with very different situations from various parts of the country. In all three scenarios, the people saved money under the new tax plan. The families were as surprised as the folks at CBS News. Everyone has been told so many lies about the plan by Democrats and the media that no one thought they would benefit.
In the first scenario, a struggling single mother renting a home in North Carolina learns she will save $1,300.
In the second segment, a married couple from Rhode Island who own a home and have no kids have a comfortable income of around $150,000. Under the new plan, they save $650.
The third example is a married couple in California who own a business and have an income of $300,000. They save a whopping $13,000 under the new plan. They were absolutely shocked.

This is just the beginning of the truth winning out. Democrats will be running for cover in a couple of months if Trump and GOP do not fumble the ball.
Its a good plan but reps fumble alot. Is it retroactive to 2017?

Of course not, the RINO want to milk us for every penny they can. They only did this in hopes of saving their asses come midterms.
Stupid not to make it retroactive. They already fumbled.
The left has no idea what to do about the tax bill. Bernie spent weeks on the senate floor droning on and on about how bad this bill is and how it will destroy the country. Today he admitted the tax cuts were a good thing but the bill didn't go far enough.
The bill that Pelosi called armageddon didn't go far enough? Not enough armageddon?

Fiscal conservatives were not in favor of making it retroactive due to debt concerns. That does not take congress off the hook for not getting to this sooner in 2017.

Speaking of CBS and the tax plan. He is an article that has no corroboration, just hear say. OK, so wealthy folks get tax break. I believe it was supposed to be tax plan for all. Anybody who has a problem with people who pay taxes get a break have a bigger problem that the tax plan.

I thought conservatives understand that tax money doesnt belong to the govt.

Yeah, that was an arguable statement. My neighbor claims to be a "fiscal Conservative", yet doesn't seem to have an issue with social programs getting funded at increasing rates.
I think What Super was getting at, as we have already created an obligation to fund 2017, with 2017 taxes, rather than kick the can down the road to the next fiscal year, but in truth, it's still robbing Peter to fund Paul's addictions.
Until we actually cut spending, this is a moot point, which is why I questioned why all the hype over the tax bill, when in fact, we are applauding them for stealing less of our money.
How fucked up is that? Oh Boy, you aren't robbing me at Hussein Administration levels? But you're still robbing us with Establishment quotas 40 years old.

Thanks. The fiscal conservatives were desiring some spending cuts.

That's what I was thinking, they thought for certain they'yd find at least two pissed off libs and claim that represents two-thirds of taxpayers.
Problem was, the tax bill actually works this way for the next four years.
Democrats getting caught in their own trap of lies and deceit.
