Can somebody explain to me why Barr released Mueller report?

I am losing faith in the system. Barr shouldn't have released a single sentence of Mueller report - it's one-sided prosecution attack on a man who didn't have a chance to argue against it in the court. Who didn't have a chance to face his accusers.

Why not? It being proved that he was doing a partisan hack job of an investigation.

Even if it's useful, it's a bad precedent. Can any prosecutor now release investigative materials that resulted in no indictments against anybody? I don't think it has ever been done before.

This was not a legal decision by Barr. It was a political decision as he probably felt the Mueller report was a political report and he understands Washington. He has been proven correct. He now has the democrats falling all over themselves trying to keep this subject alive. Just look at how the John Dean fiasco absolutely exposed Nadler and his cronies for what they are.

Then you're not following what's happening.

Yes he should have.  It was very smart and boxed in the Dems.

Is this the report that said no obstruction and no collusion with Russians?

It's not legal.  It was a decision by the Attorney General with the support of the President.

If you were the innocent party, wouldn't you want that?

Cryptic Bert

If he didn't he would be accused of protecting Trump. Besides the people have a right to know what we just paid for.

Zak

I have no doubt that it was a correct and the only possible political decision. I'm just concerned about longer-term consequences.

The long term consequences are these clowns get locked up...  they are already in trouble over the Mueller report:

Also, Zak, just because the leftists, Dems, and MSM point and scream stuff like "obstruction" and talk about impeachment, that doesn't mean they lose.  Assuming defeat is the old GOP way.  Don't let the tards dictate the narrative.  Remember, we're in the majority.

This is just a wild ass guess, but Barr released the mueller report because he is going to release other reports which will destroy many of those in power.

Agree. In the big picture, the Mueller report is going to be exposed for what it is, a band-aid on a decapitation.

One wonders when Pelosi is going to take Nadler out. I think she has already done this to Schiff. Remember when he was in the news everyday? He sure has been quiet for some time.

Is it really up to Nancy? I think she's lost complete control of the party. If not for the media playing the game to her favor, she'd have been irrelevant after Trump was elected, but the media has been running block and propping her up.
I don't know, the party is in near free fall with radicals voicing opinion above leadership and no one seems to be in charge as the mental patients run amok at the asylum and the media pretends all this is Trump's fault.
If one looks of the true meaning of Congress, it truly fits the Dims.

That same media sure seems to be hitting the panic button now, Wouldn't be surprised to see some of them hit by Barr.
