Unfettered choice is heading that way (seemingly)

Fourth trimester of what? Pregnancies are three trimesters long. Is this some sort of hyperbole on your part?

Congress is leaving Washington for their Thanksgiving holiday.

There are no obvious plans to combat Obama's actions.

I remember the outrage when we heard all the stories about the "unaccompanied children?"  I don't hear it anymore.

It kind of seems like let them get used to the idea and then we really don't have to do anything substantial.  Let's put it off and hope they forget about it.

This has been the pattern.  Obama just gets away with everything.  He has 2 more years to hurt us.

Can't help but be cynical it will be much business as usual.  El President thinks so.

DaisyJane

What exactly do you expect this congress, a congress that has but a few days left before a boatload of liberals and RINOS pack their bags and depart to do? Fists off some of the things Obama has done has to be challenged in the courts. That is out of congress' hands. Not to mention going through the courts can take years. Secondly laws take time to write. Especially if you are dealing with something as complex and emotional as immigration reform. Finally what sense does it make to go after Obama now when in a few weeks leadership and chairmanships will change? Ina few weeks the GOP will have unprecedented influence and control and they are more conservative then they have been in decades. Wouldn't you rather it be them that takes Obama to task? What could they possibly accomplish now with Reid still in control?

The more this congress is out of session the better. No more appointments until the next congress and that is good.

I don't put anything past the Choice crowd ( even humor about them can't be counted out as something they will advocate or push...

What really worries me here is the attitude of some who think that since they are in the minority, the Democrats are insignificant and Obama has been neutered.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

Unlike Republicans, Democrats don't give up when they are beaten in elections. They don't say,"Well, we only control 1/3rd of the Federal government so, we might as well go along with the Republicans and get things done!"

You know, the way the Republicans do when they are out of power!

No, they tighten up their belts and push their agenda even harder. What they can't achieve via legitimate legislation, they promote through their activist judges in the court systems. And if that fails, they use the media in a full out assault against anyone and anything that stands in their way!

Look at what is happening to Bill Cosby even as we speak! They are doing a Herman Cain on him, because he dared to speak the truth about the race baiters and the way they operate!

And blacks in Hollywood just don't do that! He must be destroyed!

The left just got their ass handed to them, all because they backed Marxist principles.
Now think about that, the country rejected them soundly, Historically in fact. Do you seriously think they will continue the failed policy of the past?

Like I've said for the last two years, the Dim party you know today is dead and buried, it will take decades for people to forget what they just did to the country.

People have made that assumption before...

When they did, we ended up with a Democrat Super-majority in Congress and a Black Kenyan as President!

Umm, No! We had rino in charge at the time, a House flooded with Lib Dims jumping ship to the GOP under Newt.

It's true, the super storm was already brewing with the Marxist plan, as part of their agenda they created the "Bush is Evil mantra" and the GOP base hated what the party did with it's need to push a socialist agenda, and the Marxists seized the moment.

With the base lost and angry, the TEA movement sprang from the aftermath, and history was chronicle in a Bloody Nov Slaughter of both party's socialists/Marxists.

Show me where i'm wrong.

This didn't happen overnight. It didn't start with Bush - either of them.

It started with Wilson and both Roosevelts and the Kennedys and the Clintons...

The Progressives started this ball rolling about a hundred years ago, the Marxists co-opted the movement in the late 50s and early 60s. By the 70s the Democrat Party was nearly 100% Socialist, and a majority of the Republican Party was Progressive.

From there, things just got worse!

Thinking a new Congress or even a new president will change things is naive. This perfect storm you speak of has been building for over 100 years. Its damage won't be undone in a the tenure of a single president or Congress.

It will take decades to undo what the Socialists and the Progressives have done to this country - even if it can be undone.

It didn't take decades to upend them though.  This has been a great learning experience for the less than faithful in our republic.   More revelations to come by 2016.....
