It's probably a good thing they are going home without a plan.

They'll get an earful from their constituents.   That earful will help stiffen some backbone.

The country might, the Republicans? NAH!

If she is cynical (and I don't think she is) she comes by it honestly - after decades of watching the Republican Party snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory, and caving to the Democrats even when they didn't have to!

Are there a few good Conservatives in the House and the Senate? Sure, but not enough to matter at this point in time.

If you want my guess, he will issue his E.O. over the Holiday Recess.

Not until January anyway. Mark my word Darth, the rino know they are in for a fight in Jan, and they also know they will lose a majority, they know that all those other Conservatives they had been suppressing the whole time will side with the freshman.
But more importantly, the moderates will side with the Conservatives as well, making rino completely irrelevant.

Again, keep this post for future reference.

Look how much chaos Ted Cruz and Mike Lee caused the GOP over the past few years.  One conservative has far more affect and influence than 20 RINOs.

How is it the obvious becomes so invisible to those looking for disaster?
People need to stop comparing the rino and their disasters of the past to the Conservatives of tomorrow, it's akin to comparing the Wright bros successes to that of a moon shot. Sure they share a common thread, but they are worlds apart.

McConnell had to conspire with Reid to hose Cruz in the Senate.  Little 'ol Ted Cruz -- and the supporters who joined him.  True, the GOP won't be a majority of conservatives, but we don't need it on paper.

Though I do believe the Cons will hold the majority vote, for one simple reason, leadership, the country is starved for leadership, and when the Cons take control, they'll hold it for a long long time, which I believe they will.

Absolutely.  They'll also get Dem support.  I'm amazed at how so many grown adult conservatives don't understand this.

Absolutely!!! There are plenty of Dims up for reelection in 16, and many were thrown under the bus by Harry, so they'll siding with the winning team.

Now this is just crazy talk!

This is not the Democrat Party of the 1980s. There are no Reagan Democrats left!

If you've ever listened to Mark Levin, this should be familiar to you: "The Democrat Party is a very ideologically pure body." You either tow the Democrat Party line or you are out - all the way out!

And don't believe for a minute that what Obama is doing is not part a parcel of the Democrat Party line. They have been planning this and working towards this for the 50 + years. They are not going to give up now!

Just watch! In the unlikely event that Obama is Impeached, the vote to Impeach will fall along strict party lines. If there are any crossovers, it will be Republicans voting with Democrats not to impeach!

How's that working out for them?  No wonder they're pissed.

I hope he's not impeached.  Why would we want someone impeached who has done so much for conservatives?

Obviously apples and oranges. I was responding solely to the following:

QuoteAbsolutely.  They'll also get Dem support.

There is no Democrat who will support the Republican agenda - even if it means losing their seat in Congress.

I am well aware that the new Congress isn't in until January.

However, I feel, if they were really serious, they would have stayed in Washington and worked on putting a STOP to this.  Nothing has a sense of urgency?  They would be making plans on dealing with the 100,000 children who invaded the country this summer.

How about making sure there are no benefits to people who are here illegally?  Why does everyone keep saying "we cannot possibly deport people?"  Why the hell not?  What about what this costs to the American people?

Now that what they really care about is over, reelection, they can focus on what is really important.  That is who the leaders are, who is on what committee, how can we not offend Latinos, etc.

These people will NEVER go anywhere the way things have been going.  You get any idea that ONE PERSON won't stay here for good - not 3 years of delay?  Any reason to think Obama won't do more?  He has nothing to lose no matter what his own party says!

Yes, the best predictor of the future is the past.  We're going to fix this - good bye for now.  Got to go for Thanksgiving.

It's really not about what the GOP can get done before January rather than how much more destruction is Obama going to do before January.  He still has time to do what we've all been fearing; declaring marshal law.

In a way I wish he would, doing something so stupid would mean the absolute end of "the marxists party disguising itself as the Democrats".

He's mad enough to do it, but is he stupid enough to do it????

who you think would go along with it?
