There was a time in American politics when the Whip did a far better job of arm twisting and beating renegades into submission.  Due to the media's power, these renegades have become the media's darlings and anyone who picks on them is destroyed.  While we will never achieve party purity, we can demand that the majority of our party take a strong stand against those who do not stand with our caucus. 

The fact remains that the problem with RINOS is they represent the districts which elect them.  Even if we drive one out pf office they will likely be replaced with someone just like them or even someone worse, such as a so called "Justice Democrat" (Marxist).  I've had to work with a lot of assholes in my life. I received promotions due to my ability to work with those assholes (as well as the many great employees) and get them to do what I wanted them to do and what was in the organization's best interest for the successful completion of its mission.  As Donald Rumsfeld once said, you go to war with the military you have, not the one you wish you had.  Make no mistake we are a war and our children's future and the future of our nation's hangs in the balance!

Though very dated, I wrote about this very issue several years ago. Thing is, this is how these RINO were able to gain power, fear within the electorate.
Keep in mind, the RINO are nothing what they were just 10 years ago, and now is not the time to back off on their removal.
