Seriously, are there any surviving congressional blue dog democrats left after tonight?

Also think about how this turn of events will further push the Democrat Party to the left and put them out of position to appeal to moderates and independents going forward.

I sincerely believe this is the first step towards the eventual marginalization of the Democrat Party.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.

Are you referring to anything other than the Manchineel victory? A guy who runs to the right of his Republican candidate? A guy who repudiated the entire Democrat agenda? A guy who vowed to repeal Obamacare, support the 2nd amendment and fight cap and trade?

When that's the only Dem who can win then it's a good night for us.

Coons and Blumenthal were expected.

Seriously, if any blue dogs survive let's list them here.

With the Blue Dogs gone the Democrats left are all rabid leftists...

Dan

The composition of the Democrat Party is decidedly more liberal and less willing to compromise now. And remember half as many people are self described liberals as self described conservatives. This is the beginning of the marginalization of the Democrat Party.
