On a more serious note, does anyone here think this will hurt Brown's numbers with women voters. In the current political environment men are voting heavily for Republicans. So no Democrat has a chance unless he heavily carries women. Do you guys think Brown's demeaning, slanderous "whore" reference will create sympathy for Whitman or at the very least discourage some women who would have voted for Brown and give them a reason to stay at home?

Honestly, I dont understand how californians think....they know their state is a mess they know they are buried in debt...now friggin stupid can they be to even consider brown....they really deserve what happens to them

Actually I think it will hurt, but only just a little.
The old lady vote, the one that always voted for a Dim, just as her husband did ever since the 40s.
Even though she is widowed, she carried on the tradition, but the whore comment might be too much.

As to how many votes that translates into is anyone's guess, but I'm sure they will make up for it at the local cemetery, after all, even though he husband is dead, he still votes Dim. :o ;D

What is it with these idiots, here they have a woman that is a real success story, yet they endorse an idiot that obviously has no respect for women.

An organization truly devoted to the benefit of women would behave very differently. They would be pushing for women's rights in Afghanistan and Iraq. They would be acting differently as the Democratic hate machine tries to chew up conservative women such as Palin and Angle and O'Donnell and Whitman and Fiorina and Halley. But groups like NOW aren't for the advancement of women anymore than the NAACP is about advancing the interests of black people or the AARP is for the interests of the elderly or the unions are for the interests of the workers. All of these groups are liberal special interest groups first and foremost. The rest is just lip service. If you aren't a liberal woman then NOW doesn't give 2 shits about you. If you aren't a liberal black man then the NAACP doesn't give a shit about you either.

Thee groups are nothing but a great big lie and you don't have to believe me. All you have to do is believe their actions.

As long as there are enough fruits and nuts in California to ensure that the state remains under COMMUNIST rule, that nightmare of a state will never change.

I feel very bad for the folks in California who have functioning brains.  They are in the minority for sure.

Eventually, when the state hits bankruptcy and the Feds stop bailing them out, then it will all have to change. But until then the loons are running the asylum.

Most of us live rural, and want nothing to do with their corrupt cities, yet since they control these places, they also have the base of power in the Legislature, and drew the electorate lines accordingly.

The State is heading for bankruptcy, and when it does, we ill take it back, but isn't that how it's always been?
