Gee, it kind of makes Peter Paul and Mary suspect socialists.
As much as I loved their music as a kid, as an adult, I see right left through it.
Damn flowers in my hair almost ruined my beehive.

That was the soundtrack to Camelot, y'all. Peace-love-dope and screw any woman that moved, the JFK doctrine. The evil dark forces of McCarthyism and HUAC and all things 1950s was behind us and trousers had no cuffs and women's hair went up to the ceilings. Everything was groovy then, man. Fan-tabulous.

So then we learned about Marilyn and all those others, and after Oswald managed the physically impossible with that bolt-action, we got Lyin' Lyndon the total ruthless gangster, followed by a whole bunch of criminal-and/or-idiot GOP Establishment types and a quarter-wit JAW-ja peanut farmer so ignorant only O-pologize could beat him on manifest degrees of out-of-touchness.

The folk singers like PP&M and so many others gave us the hippy-dippy stuff, but over on Broadway there was a more polished take on the Vietnam war.

Shenandoah was a thinly-disguised effort to set anti-war sentiment during the War Between the States / aka War of Northern Aggression. Here, in "I've Heard It All Before," is a father's anguish.... John Cullum from TV's "Northern Exposure" sings....

The end of Cameron could mean a return to gun rights.

Nigel Farage has called for firearm laws to be relaxed, calling the current ban on handguns "ludicrous".

The Ukip leader criticised the "kneejerk" restrictions on handguns imposed after the 1996 Dunblane massacre in which Thomas Hamilton killed 16 schoolchildren and a teacher before shooting himself.

The laws were brought in by Sir John Major, the then Tory prime minister, and extended to a total ban by Tony Blair's Labour government in 1997.

Asked about gun controls, Farage said: "I think proper gun licensing is something we've done in this country responsibly and well for a long time, and I think the kneejerk legislation that Blair brought in that meant that the British Olympic pistol team have to go to France to even practise was just crackers.

"If you criminalise handguns then only the criminals carry the guns. It's really interesting that since Blair brought that piece of law in, gun crime doubled in the next five years in this country."

Actually met Noel Paul Stookie (sp) - Socialist no.  Militant Marxist maybe.  Tyrant wanna-be YUP.  He was working on a Children's BBS project and trying to secure funding through a Crayon company, I guess it fell through... like someone tipped them off.  Back in those days, if you could write code, everyone wanted your talent, FREE, for their noble cause.  "Join me or else!"  Changed my phone number 3-4 times one year, you'd think I had a winning lottery ticket.  Like Apostles of Marxism, dedicated, driven and re-education was their goal... makes Bernie look like a Jolly old Uncle.

Interesting fact, very, very FEW of these Marxists ever started a real business, from the ground up, but practically all of them took someone elses' hard earned dollars and essentially used it against the donors.

One rather odd thing about a business, once it's off-the-ground, everyone wants it, but until then, nobody will lift a finger to help it succeed and all the "free" advice is negative (and usually wrong).

I'm glad the Brits voted to exit - maybe they realized individual freedom starts at home.

Sooooo the democrats are the same over there and they are in Washington state.  Keep recounting until they get a democrat in.  Are they going to hold a sit-in also?

My understanding, they have no legal right to a second.  It's not like a re-count.

What sort of code? Are you talking about HTML and CSS?

Were you once a professional coder?

Besides the fact that the EU is a failed socialist experiment I wonder how much of this has to do with the fact that the citizens of the UK are tired of being told by the EU they have to tolerate an invading Muslim army.

Like Americans, they too are sick of the lies and deceit the marxists have foist upon them and the leadership is in a panic, just like the Marxists in the GOP, they too are in panic mode.

A question for the forum.............

Is Parliament legally bound to accept and abide by the Brexit Referendum?

I just can't believe the socialists/Marxists would just roll over so easily.

Obama is not the PM so they will have to abide by the vote. I am sure the elites are behind closed doors trying to undo this though.

That's what sucks about a Democracy, majority can change the rules at whim.

Boo, how big of a majority did this pass by.  From what I can see others countries are also thinking of jumping ship and going it on there own also.
