People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

And after her speedy recovery, she should retire; in order to spend her Golden Years in peace.

Nature and Natural Law has a way of dealing a rough hand of cards. Some folks wear out, some rust out, but all will go out sooner or later.

In this case, Ruthie turned way too political for a judge in her twisted assessment of Trump a while back. That may have been the result of brain deterioration due to age... dunno, but that woman needs to be REPLACED.

(EDITED TO NOTE: Funny thing happened when I tried to access this topic from the link on my gmail account.. I got the dreaded "404 that page does not exist". Hmmmm, eh?)

Two things kill old people the most, broken hips and broken ribs, and the reason why is the amount of time necessary to recover.
My dad died after a fall at 93, all he did was get bruised up really bad, but it was debilitating enough that he had to sit and do nothing, which lead too complications, which lead to more complications and finally the hospital and getting his food through a tube, and that complicated his ability to eat actual food.

Point is, at this age, the body begins to shutdown if not used daily, so I highly doubt she will recover, add  to that, pneumonia is generally associated with broken ribs because at a minimum, you can't do a damn thing for 3 months, and for people her age and poor health, that's a death sentence.

I would never wish death upon RBG but if by unfortunate chance she were to pass it would fall right into Trump's hopes of possibly securing another Nominee for the supreme court.

I don't care what life has planned for her, all I know is she is far beyond her "Use By Date" and has already mentally expired.
She has no business being on the court. I'm pretty certain her time is up, simply because she probably won't recover, or fast enough to hear a stream of cases coming to the court.
I expect to see a growing call for her resignation.

Only the dims of today could be so infantile and rotten, as to demand that she be put through whatever pain and agony it takes, for her to hang on until 2024.

She could end up looking just like Stephen Hawking, and they will still be saying "aw she looks great, stop complaining Ruth !"

Philosophically, it's actually better for her to be "missing" most days.  5-3 conservative tilt. Though it will be hilarious when it goes 6-3.  Good chance it will be up to 7-2 before Trump is done, with only the 2 UN-EU-World Court-IMF  broads left to vote against America.

It's great to see the left screeching about a Hitler-dictator-fascist SC, when they were just chomping at the bit waiting for Hilliary to make it 9-0 socialist / global.

RBG is an admitted ALCOHOLIC.

My bet is she was drunk as hell when she stumbled.

I'm not a fan of 'indefinite tenure' for federal judges or congresscritters.

What a fight  it would be  if Trump gets to replace a democrat court judge.

Well-l-l-l-l. let's think on the reality of it all......... Trump has at least another two years..........does Ruthie??

So, there is every possibility we will see just that scenario play out.

Damned good thing those Peoples Army Revolutionaries (AKA Democrat Party members) did not take the senate as well as the <BLEEPING> house, eh?

A growing call? From whom - the Dims. They'll demand she remain on the court if they have to put her brain in a jar, and hook it up to a voice modulator.

That's the beauty of it.  Everything Trump wants and needs is in the senate.  The loss of the house majority means nothing but comedy gold for 2 years, as the lunatics widen their divide with real Americans.

2 more SC justices and 200 more fed judges, and a wall against impeachment and stupid legislation ...... coming right up !  Plus the DOJ revving up.  Trump has all he needs for 2 years of non-stop fun.
