On his way out, Romney did return fire to Obama for sneering at Romney's call to address U.S. poverty. Mittens' tweet to Bonehead read....

QuoteMr. Obama, wonder why my concern about poverty? The record number of poor in your term, and your record of failure to remedy.

Romney is a Republican, but he is not Conservative. He is a Big Government RINO (as are a surprising number of Mormons!).

I'm not saying he is a "bad" man, but don't expect him to pull out all the stops for a candidate like Cruz or Walker.

Unless our candidate ends up being a member of the Republican Establishment, Mitt will, most probably, not be heard from again during this election cycle.
He may support Walker if walker becomes the more popular candidate. Walker, A conservative, gets support from all sides of the republican party in his state and also pulls some of the conservative democrats to support him. He could be the great uniter in this campaign just as Ronnie was!
I say Walker is the one to watch!

More and more people are saying that. It is kind of like "Goldilocks".

Romney's Not-So-Subtle Parting Shot at Jeb Bush

By Carrie Dann

Announcing his decision not to run for president Friday, Mitt Romney described his ideal GOP standard-bearer like this:

I believe that one of our next generation of Republican leaders, one who may not be as well known as I am today, one who has not yet taken their message across the country, one who is just getting started, may well emerge as being better able to defeat the Democrat nominee. In fact, I expect and hope that to be the case.

"Next generation" and "not as well known" certainly stand out in that sentence, as Romney was speaking to a group of former backers ripe for poaching by the camp of GOP establishment favorite Jeb Bush.

For one, it's certainly debatable that Bush - the son of one president and the brother of another - represents a "next generation of Republican leaders." He's been out of elected office for eight years; he's part of the party's most well-known modern political dynasty, and he was talked about as a potential presidential candidate long before this year. And at 61, he's more than a decade older than some of the conservative movement's breakout stars, like Marco Rubio (43), Ted Cruz (44) and Scott Walker (47).

This may be interesting, Next generation" and "not as well known", He isn't talking about Crusty, Jeb or Hukalbaby!
Out of the rest of the field who do you think Romney might support?

The media is going to treat Jeb very well until he is the nominee. I think Fox news is in love with him.

Biggest problem I would have with Bush is his open boarders policies. This would kill him in the primary and the general election. I will make a prediction right now that Bush will top out in the primary with no more then 35 to 40 % support from the republican party. #1 because of his brother and #2 his stance on emigration. He is to the left of Rubio on the emigration issue.
I think he will have a long hot summer and end up bailing out! His running will not hurt the conservative agenda because just him being in there will keep other RINOS out while hurting Crusty and Hukalbaby at the same time!

The Bahhhhhston Globe didn't waste time after Romney stepped down, to begin attacks on Jeb Bush. According to them, Bush's classmates at Philips Academy in Andover thought he was a bully...

Jeb Bush a bully???    And this from the press that has backed clinton and obama??  Who were his classmates, Mr. Jello and Mrs. Pudding?

Bush'll follow Romney out-the-door, shortly.  Both candidacies are/were generating zero enthusiasm.

If you condense Romney's comments over the past months, he's saying:  " I can win the Presidency, but nobody's going-to vote for me. "

That's sanitarium-committal stuff.

35-40% is more than enough in a crowded field. Lets remember in 2012 Drudge was in the establishment pocket with daily negative stories about Romney,s opponents. The media wants Bush because they know people like me wont come out and vote, just  like  in 2012.

His position on education will also hurt him in conservative states.

Jeb Bush's wife is a naturalized American citizen. (I know she's hispanic and think she's Mexican).  In any event, if you recall the argument aganst sufferage, was largely that the woman in the household didn't need the vote, because she told all the men in the household how to vote!
