Can't verify this anywhere else but here it is anyway:

With less than twenty-four hour's notice, the RNC Counsel notified delegates on the Credentials Committee that they needed to be in Cleveland today if they wanted to observe the process.

The Contest Committee is the committee that can reject delegates from attending the convention.

So with less than twenty-four hour's notice, it is possible the Trump led RNC can reject any delegates who have come out vocally against him, even if duly selected by their various states.

I call BS on this author, he makes some serious leaps to connect dots that simply don't exist. Note the term "Observe", not vote, but simply observe, and nowhere does it say if they don't attend, they can be removed, in fact I can't find anywhere in the rules that the RNC can remove a delegate, that's a State GOP issue, not something the National party has jurisdiction over.

That's right. With less than twenty-four hour's notice, the RNC Counsel notified delegates on the Credentials Committee that they needed to be in Cleveland today if they wanted to observe the process.

No argument here.  I couldn't find it anywhere else either.

It worked this time. Thanks.

Trump might just find that the RNC kicks his ass to the curb.

There have been numerous speculations, reports, rumors regarding the delegates, changing rules, ousting Trump, selecting his VP, etc., etc..  There are so many that it is very difficult to discern. What we do know for certain is that Trump has the majority of delegates needed; whether or not they are bound or unbound is spelled out in the Constitution and the Rules Committee governs what happens at the Convention.

Personally, I don't see how they cannot award the nomination to Trump without creating a full blown backlash and really creating havoc. He received the majority period.  I don't like the guy, I can't vote for the guy. The only way that I see that Trump isn't going to get the nomination is if he himself decides to not accept for whatever reason and I just don't see that happening. His choice of VP will either make or break him just as Hillary's choice will as neither one of them are exactly popular among their voters.

However, I'm still of the opinion that the fix has been in for Hillary since the beginning and Donald is in this to make sure that happens....so in that light, all this speculation becomes irrelevant.  I'm hoping I am dead wrong and we do actually see a turn of events at the Convention...time will tell.  Less than two weeks away and counting.

Or... the fix has been in for Trump as the nominee and this whole feud with the RINO establishment and their sudden kissing and making up was planed as well.  The RINOs don't care who wins as long as they stay in power and can continue to sell out the nation for their own personal enrichment.

Well, I just answered my house phone and it was the "Tea Party" asking me to get behind their candidate Donald Trump in order to beat Hillary. I laughed and said can you repeat that? Did you just say Trump was a Tea Party member? He said yes and I laughed again and asked him what day they sold themselves out to a life long NY liberal. The phone went silent and he cued up a recorded message asking me for my unwavering support. I hung up.

You should have tried to see how long you could keep him on the 'phone. Guys on the gun boards love to do that to screw with deserving people, like the Nigerian scammers.....'Would you please hold ....I have to let the dog out. I'll be back in a few'......'Uh-oh! The doorbell just rang...hold on while I see who it is'....etc...etc.

BS or not in a couple of weeks we will know for "fact" where the GOP stands on 2016 general election.

Something tells me the GOP gong to be like that robot in "lost in space" at the convention in Cleveland.

Damn i'm old. The said part is I forgot the robot's name...lol

'Dump Trump' RNC Delegate Leader: We 'Have The 28 Votes' To Unbind Delegates

Nice find Dori. Shit is about to hit the fan.

Unruh explained that "28 committee members are required to pass a minority report, which then goes to the convention floor for all delegates to vote on. It then requires a simple majority to pass." She added that she does "have the 28 votes required for the minority report," continuing, "Not everyone who is with us is willing to be public yet, due in part to the threats being made by Trump's campaign and the RNC itself."
