Breaking: Judge rules against Broward County in Rick Scott lawsuit over ballot counting transparency

A judge ruled in favor Thursday of Gov. Rick Scott in a lawsuit over transparency in the election ballot counting in Broward County, Florida.

The emergency hearing was held over claims that Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes violated the Florida constitution by not providing information about how many ballots are left to be counted.

Three days after the election, Broward County says ballots are still being counted, despite many other counties being able to finish very soon after election day.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum recanted his concession to Republican Ron DeSantis as the margin narrows between the two. Republican officials are concerned that the continuing influx of Broward county ballots may also tip the United States Senate race between Scott and incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson (D).

In court, the attorney for Broward county conceded that Broward County was under a legal obligation to produce the records, but claimed that Snipes was too busy counting ballots to comply with the law.

Broward County District Court Judge Carol Lisa Phillips was, unsurprisingly, not impressed with this argument and ruled that the county must produce the voting records requested by Scott by 7 p.m. on Friday.

"Meantime the meeting taking place inside the the Broward County Supervisor of Elections building is straight out of 2000 as officials pore over individual ballots and bubbles versus check marks," reported CNN's Jessica Dean.

Sessions last act as AG shold be to send the US Marshal's in there to lock the whole place down until an ombudsman be appointed to oversee the count and exam the records.  If fraud is proven somebody needs to go to jail.

It would seem there is but one option option here. Not accept another ballot and arrest her ass on the spot.
I wonder if the Governor has the balls to do it? It really is simple, don't accept the ballots she claims to have and call it over.

People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

Me either, despite her ignoring a court order, there is no news that they've accepted any of the fraudulent ballots ballots.

This entire situation is ludicrous. I believe it is safe to say the FL legislative branch has bungled the election laws. Unfortunately, it will require the judicial branch to step in. I am not a lawyer or an expert on FL election law. However, if what I have heard is true and there were more votes than registered voters that is a pretty good indication there is something nefarious going on. That being said it would up to the judicial to either invalidate all votes from the county or order a re-vote monitored by both parties. Any other ideas?
