Boycott General Motors - Extreme Liberal Agenda

As many of you have already heard, a few months ago General Motors announced that the current CFO Chuck Stevens was retiring and that Dhivya Suryadevara, a 39 year old Indian woman, would be his replacement.  While this is a milestone for a woman to reach such a high position in the automotive industry, the problem is that Mrs. Suryadevara was selected over several white males who were older, more experienced, more qualified and had worked at GM longer than her.

You can thank current CEO Mary Barra for that, as she constantly pushes her feminist, liberal political views down the throats of everyone at the company through emails about diversity and multiculturalism, and wanted to promote another woman and minority to the executive level ranks 'just because' it's the right thing to do in her warped mind.

This is a classic case of discrimination against white males in the work place where minorities are given preferential treatment based on the color of their skin and the small portion of the U.S. population that their ethnicity makes up.  It is indeed a major win for liberals, feminists and minorities all across the globe as Mrs. Suryadevara is not only a minority but also a woman.  Two for one.

Can you imagine if the situation was reversed and Mrs. Suryadevara had worked at GM for 25-30 years, paid her dues, and when the time came for her to take the role of CFO she was passed over by a younger white male?  There would be public outrage from all the feminists, liberals and LGBT community saying that she had been discriminated against.  However, because the situation is not reversed and Mrs. Suryadevara was promoted over several more qualified white males, that makes everything okay and they are all staying silent about the clear discrimination that was done.

The solution?  Vote with your wallet and boycott GM.  Buy Ford, Toyota, Honda, or some other OEM instead.  Not only are those other vehicles higher quality and a better value for your money, you will be taking a stand against the injustice that was done here about giving minorities and women preferential treatment and advantages over white males.  It has to stop, and it starts now.  Boycott GM and make them have to go through another bankruptcy restructuring and have to be bailed out by the federal government on the U.S. taxpayer's dime (this already happened in 2009 – in case anyone forgot).  Ford did not have to be bailed out – another reason to support them over GM.  #BOYCOTTGM

Glad I no longer buy GM, the last GM product I bought was a brand new 1970 El Camino.
I agree, screw these corps that keep pushing a leftist agenda, it's another reason I bought a Subaru over Jeep.

She's 39, has student loans, and is supposed to run a billion dollar company?

With all these lawyers with cameras on the street i'm shocked we have so much crime in the world.

There is constitutional law and there is law and order. This challenge to law and order is always the start to loosing our constitutional rights.

I worked for a large national corporation for over 40 years and saw some of this. However, in most of these cases it was more of the "Peter principle" playing out. There were a few instances where totally incompetent folks were put in high profile slots. It seemed the folks in charge knew what they were doing and these folks were placed on the 7th or 8th floor of the Home Office with posh offices, but no responsibility. I labeled these people as Senior VP of Nothing.

Exactly, saw it with friends in business and loser family members that were so embarrassing, that instead of making them sleep on the street, gave them a title, office and a boat and told them, we'll call you if we need you, go be our ambassador.
Sometimes they'd show up, acting like big shots, order people around, buy the office coffee and doughnuts, act like the cool boss, only to interrupt the real workings of the business.
In one case it actually worked, the guy was quite affable, in another, they needed to get him rehab twice a year.

I guess the Leftist/Marxist agenda is the new nepotism from yesteryear. Occasio Cortez is evidence of that, affable, but dumb as a post, but people liked her and now the DNC family needs to find the idiot a place.

Agree. With family owned small businesses I found it unusual if a business got by the second generation. If it got to the third generation it was extremely rare.

Yep, now days when it hits 3rd gen, it's because the family sold out what their fore fathers built and leftists took it over and made the crony govt connection.
GM and Dodge are perfect examples of selling out for the govt teat, Ford as well, they did it via backdoor connections. These are global entities that sold out Americans long ago, they neither deserve our business or loyalty.

I think GM pissed off Trump...oh boy this should be fun.

Angry Trump Says "Looking At Cutting All GM Subsidies", Stock Slides

Update: Mere moments after Larry Kudlow made it very clear just how disappointed and betrayed Trump felt by Mary Barra's layoff and plant shuttering announcement on Monday, the president tweeted that he is "very disappointed with General Motors and their CEO, Mary Barra, for closing plants in Ohio, Michigan and Maryland" even as nothing was being closed in Mexico & China. As a result, he is "now looking at cutting all GM subsidies, including for electric cars."

The reason for Trump's anger? "U.S. saved General Motors, and this is the THANKS we get!"

A boycott of GM will only hurt American workers, so that make little sense.  It would make more sense to boycott Toyota, they import over a million cars onto our markets each year, and engage in keiretsu while Japan blocks American imports. And take a look how little high end autos contribute to America and its workers, see list on Kogod.

Read between the "LIES", stop trying to justify failure. GM is closing plants in the US, when they could be closing them in China and Mexico.

From an article 2 years old, and I guarantee you, that number has increased.
GM is no more an American than Toyota is today.

Three out of every four Japanese cars and trucks sold in the U.S. are built in North America.
