He could have been on the SCOTUS when it happened,.

If Kennedy hadn't opposed Bork (for purely personal and petty reasons) Obama would be looking for a replacement for him today. Talk about biting your nose to spite your face!

Yes, we technically dodged the bullet.

God help us if one of our Conservative justices dies in the next 4 years.....
