Boehner has been re-elected as Obama's whipping boy, er... Speaker of the House.

Negotiations between the White House and The House of Representatives can continued as before...

9 Republicans opposed Boehner - they have earned our respect and deserve our support!

AndyJackson

My God, are you pulling our legs  ?

I was hoping for at least a show of conscience and displeasure.

9 guys all deserve a thanks for sure, but they amount to (just more) pure embarrassment in the big picture.

Again, Boehner was "Overcome with emotion" after being reelected as Speaker.  My God.  That guy cries at the drop of a hat.  We need some people with backbone to stand up to that usurper in the White House.  Whatever happened to courage?  Whatever happened to integrity?

Whatever happened to real men? :glare:
I really despise emotional men, and it may have had a lot to do with why he got screwed by Husein so badly, he relied on emotion, instead of following a core set of beliefs.

The sad part of this is we're going to lose the House in 2014 because of him. He has no backbone and Obama and his tit suckers will blame all their short comings on Boehner and instead of sticking up for himself, he will fold like a cheap suit. God help American.
People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

I would wager my left testicle that there was an agreement across the board that voting for him would make the party look less fractured. Obama's sole reason for doing this was to rip the party apart and it worked. If Boehner was booted there would be endless media stories about the GOP being in disarray.
I can see why they did it but I don't necessarily agree with it. And the party being disarray is because of the Conservatives and that is a good thing. The RINO's are slowly losing control...

How do you figure?
I see no correlation in the least, in fact I see the exact opposite, I see the base getting even more pissed and kicking even more RINO to the curb.

How did your Rep vote?
Mine voted no.

Is this the final straw in the "GOP is broken beyond repair" discussion  ?

I don't know how this can be topped for dysfunctional / broken.  Is there any other step / example that is needed to prove this ?

How can Rove, Boehner, OConnell, et al, even represent us at this point, in any form  ?

Man, even Norquist got sucked into the Obama vortex and said "oh, well I guess just these new taxes are OK".

Why wouldn't we split right now ?  I know there's always the folks who want to say "oh no, not yet, just wait a little while longer to see if it changes".  But we've been saying that since McCain, and Bush's liberal cave-in's before that.

How can it not be time to go, right now  ?

I know the secondary question is who does what to kick it off.  But I don't know how anyone can 'kick the can' (lol, quite the all-purpose description of most things political these days) any longer, in good conscience or common sense.

in 2014 will have had 2 years of tax hikes,  2 years of a dead economy and 2 years of Obamacare. The GOP should pick up some seats and some of them will be Tea Party.

That's how I see it, not to mention 77% of Americans will be paying higher taxes while the Dims Crony Capitalists will get a break. (Hollywood, Green energy etc)

"You" re-elected Obama. "You" decided to keep Harry Reid and the Senate Democrat. The House took a loss because "you" took away several Republican seats. "You" want big government, but you cry about minor tax increases. America is schizophrenic.

People crying about the Republicans need to be a little realistic. You got the government you voted for.  From "our" perspective, with the government we elected, the best the House can do is MINIMIZE the damage Obama and Reid can do.  Making the current tax rates PERMANENT for the "98%" is a great accomplishment considering who YOU put into office.

If you don't like the outcome, use a little more intelligence and WISDOM in 2014 when you go to the ballot box.

In the meantime, tell me how you'll make any gains by splitting the Republican Party rather that CHANGING the Party through your vote?

Sitting home, or throwing your vote to someone who'll get 2% of the vote will only help Obama's successor.  I pray some of you will WAKE THE HELL UP before 2014.

I am willing to wait a few terms if it means we take control.

Sadly, Graham voted yay and he said that this would give him the leverage he wanted to holler about spending cuts.  I'm gonna' bet one of you a lunch (money mailed of course) that Graham doesn't say a thing about spending cuts of Obama's.  He's another McCain.

Same here, I've been bitching for decades about RINO (Bush 1), but it wasn't until the Tea party that we unified and started to make a difference, and that was just three short years ago.
To give up now would be to act like a lib teen girl that has to have everything right now.

If ya really want something, then hard work is the only way to get it, it's incumbent upon all of us to make a difference, and I'll bet everyone here will vote to do so, or we wouldn't have so much passion about it to begin with.
