Unlike the other 19 posters in this massively successful conservative forum, I don't hang on your every word nor do I follow every thread. And if I bore you, why do you care?  To which post are you referring?
Stop running away and answer my question.

Yep, and since he is clueless as to how a free mkt economy functions, he does what Govt does best, tax!
Now with that in mind, we know he has two choices, tax the Hell out of people, or print/borrow money, both of which are negatives for the country.

But here's the problem, at what point will the world lose faith in the dollar?
Of course no one knows the answer, but it doesn't take a genius to see at some point our dollar will no longer be a safe investment, at which point hyper inflation will end our very way of life because the world moved to a better holding, be it gold or another economy, but they will dump us in a heart beat.

I'm not running away.  Unlike you and the other geniuses on the far right, I have not made myself independently wealthy, despite being in my mid 60's,  by following the precepts of Ayn Rand and thus do not have unlimited time to attend TEA party rallies and bitch about the far left.  I have to do something every now and then to make sure the revenue keeps coming in.

There are more choices than that.  But you admit yourself no one knows the answer to the question you asked.  All I can say is, we'll see.  I know that the national debt, as a percent of GNP, was higher in 1947 (due to fighting a big war) than it is now and it got paid down during a period of postwar prosperity that occurred despite very high marginal tax rates.  I also know that only spending reductions wil not fix our problem, and I also know that the problem we have was not caused just by Dims.  The national debt doubled on Reagan's watch, and then again on Bushie II's.  I also know that coming together in a bi-partisan effort to fix it, as Boehner (the "RINO") has pledged is not a bad thing.  It's putting country before ideology, but I know that's a completely foreign concept to geniuses like you and your ilk.

Why is it you make excuses for the road were on?
No one ever said this was only a problem with the left, the point is, the world has tolerated our debt only because they have no other currency to back.
But we just had a Marxist raise our debt a trillion for every year he was in office and plans on doing even more over the next four, as well as print money, further devaluing the dollar.
At some point the world will stop and divest itself of our model.

Telling the POTUS that we plan on backing his plan is akin to being an accomplice to murder, throwing out ideology and acquiescing, or rather capitulating with the enemy is treason, especially when the POTUS is Hell bent on fundamentally changing the country into that of a European socialist failed system.

Do you care nothing of what our Founding Fathers gave us, do you care nothing for the future generation?
You know very well the path were on is a path to destruction, we are spending the Nation into debt.

I agree, political leader is akin to sports hero, both are a misnomer.

In politics there is no real honesty, but to a conservative, these people are our representatives, they are supposed to be an extension of us, the constituent.

Conservatives are far from always honest, this election proved that on many occasions. From spreading lies about Obama's religion, to skewing the positives pertaining to the current healthcare legislation. The political conservatives will say anything to try and get their way.

Man, you really need to check your base morals, look and see if someone hasn't stolen them.
Please read what I said and tell me honestly if you get it or not.
Your entire post is filled with dishonesty in the form of lying to yourself and hypocrisy .

My base morals are fine pertaining to my thoughts on equality, though, as Ive stated many times, politicians on both sides are being used by big business to steal from all of us, and that is morally bankrupt.

Your entire posts are filled with double standards, and lacking any perspective outside of your small box. You need to step out and look around, it will help in future discussion. Maybe even allow you the opportunity to breathe a little better after this last political victory.

Quite true.

Typically leaders do not need to force people, at gun point, to do what they want them to!

Oh yes.

Those people in government have no problem seeing violence used to enforce their will, or to take their "paychecks."

The state is the only entity that can legally initiate force and aggression.

The reason the decisions and policies of the state are so hotly contested and controversial, is that after they are passed and made into law, they are forced on to people, with violence backing it up, regardless of their opinion on the matter.

Boehner is tired of his job but not his paycheck.  He's got two years to help Obama and that's two years too many.

???

Nothing about my post is predicting any dire emergency.

This is nothing but a cold analysis of politics, in all times and places.

I think Mr Boehner just misspelled a word, he meant to say "we're ready to be laid"

:blushing:  True enough!  That's about what it'll amount to but he can't win for us with this ideaology.  He's just offered his resignation whether he wanted to or not.
