This is a sad but true Old, Old Story that was true since the day I first walked a ghetto beat in a squeaky clean unsoiled uniform and I found my first "trash can" baby.

Whoever said the most confusion in America was "Fathers day in Harlem" was right on the money.

But the even worse untold story is all the crack and heroin addicted babies born to a lot of those unwed mothers, the burden on the tax payers is incredible, and you are still paying for it, all those kids who were born and abandoned in Wash DC's greater Southeast Hospital in the early 90's...how do you think they turned out???...any that survived are special needs kids and I would say a lot ended up in jail (more expense) or dead.

It is sad but true.  Personally one of two things should happen to the welfare "Mom" .  Either the money starts going down for each kid you have after the second one or they should be fixed after two so they can't have any more.  Make it mandatory.....

  One of the first domestics I responded too...was called in from a phone booth by a neighbor concerned for the kids.....4th flr tenement....BF whacked on drugs...garbage 3ft deep all over the 3 room apt....8 kids half starved to death...and a young woman so scarred from beatings  it was incredible....My partner looked at me and said....get used to it kid this is life....and so it was

Drug addicted welfare mothers pimping 10 Y.O daughter who caught aides,(three cases)

infant 'rented out' to be used as human mule, heroin hidden in diapers.

   Yup, when you cut it open and look inside every city looks the same....My son in law...tells the same stories the same way with me...he doesnt tell my daughter and I never told her mother the lurid details...but nothings changed all these years...sad.
   
      Got a call billy,  pulled over taxi..I pulled up hes yelling she left the baby...I look in the back baby just born not cleaned on the floor of the cab.....when we got the mother...strung out on H collapsed veins all over her..shootin in her crotch and between her toes....said I had it in the cab cuz it was warm...she cut the imbilical cord with toenail clippers on her keychain....yanno after writing this I thought what the hell we doin billy...lol...let this shit lay

The most alarming statistic of all is that 41% of babies are born to unwed mothers.

It wasn't that long ago that being an unwed mother was absolutely SCANDALOUS.  It shamed the female, and it shamed her entire family.

Now, teenage girls are walking around shopping malls with baby strollers, and they consider it a badge of honor that they have a baby, even though the father of the baby (if known) is a loser and a bum.

THIS is what our society has become, and THIS is a major reason why our society is crumbling right before our eyes.

I would like to say THANK YOU to Billy and Zip for their law enforcement backgrounds, and thank you to anybody else in this forum who have done the same, as well as all who have served in the armed forces.  You people are the ones who are the HEROES in our society.
