A House panel Tuesday formally requested Hillary Clinton to testify about the private server and email account she used while serving as secretary of state.

Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, sent a request to Clinton's personal attorney, David E. Kendall, requesting that Clinton appear before the committee no later than May 1 for a transcribed interview about the server and email.

The request comes after Kendall told Gowdy that the server had been wiped clean and that it would be impossible to recover the 30,000 emails Clinton deleted last year.

Gowdy, in his request to Kendall, also asked Clinton to "reconsider" her refusal to turn over the server to a neutral third party, which he called "highly unusual, if not unprecedented."

Believe me! Hilary didn't wipe them herself! Whoever was in charge of setting up and maintaining that server wiped it clean. There are very good shredder programs that can make it next to imposable to retrieve anything. This system she had was set up with this in mind. They planned all along to sanitize her records. It would be the only reason for doing this in the first place!
It has come out that her aids were on the same server, Do you think their records were saved and turned over? That would mean both ends of the communication were destroyed. In Florida under the sunshine statutes she would go to jail!!

Gowdy has enough other info to pull a bait and switch manuever...  Put her under-oath and grill her about something totally unexpected.   -Like the Turkish-emissary's statement that the streets around the embassy were totally deserted 40-minutes before the attack.  The video in-question had already been airing on Egyptian-TV for several hours.

I would pay to be there. She will be so combative. So angry. It will be brilliant.

Actually, with all the baggage, I hope she does get the nomination. I hope she personally endorses every demoncrap candidate in the process to poison their campaigns, too.

Yeah, he might know but we'll never find out as the hearing will be in closed quarters.  I understand how this is supposed to work as far as rebuttal goes but I'd gladly put up with all of that to get to see her squirming around and trying to keep from exploding.  See?  We won't get to see any of that.  She knows that she is guilty and what's more is that Gowdy, as good as he is, may be spinning his wheels in trying to gain anything from this event.  The whole WH deal is beyond corrupt.  Just seems like Hitlery is being protected because of her upcoming and unannounced run for president.  There's dirt of the worst kind on her and we ought to be able to watch her being tried for her part in this mess, along with her president.

Let's not forget Gowdy is a prosecutor. He knows how to dot I's and cross T's and that takes time. No problem if this drags out for a while as he compiles evidence. She is in a box and it keeps getting smaller.

I really believe The white house is behind the leaks on her e-mails! Obama doesn't want Hillary and I am sure he wants to be king maker. If Hillary wins Bill will blame all the problems in the world on Obama just as Obama did to Bush! What's more Bill will really enjoy doing it! The Clintons hate Obama. Obama has someone else in mind that hasn't come forward yet!
