Bannon take over Heritage after Jim DeMint leaves?

WTF?
I have no idea what's happening at Heritage, but it doesn't smell Right.

Asked by Chris Wallace whether Heritage would be Bannon's "safety net as he's forced out of the White House," Needham demurred on "Fox News Sunday." "I can tell you," Needham replied, "there's a lot of speculation in the room and in the media that never misses a chance to divide and attack conservatives."

With that non-answer, speculation over the fate of Heritage Foundation will no doubt reach a new fever pitch. News of DeMint's ouster has already sent shockwaves throughout the think tank and reverberations through right wing circles in Washington, D.C.

During the entire putsch, Heritage employees have been left in the dark. Many didn't learn that DeMint was being pushed out until Politico published the story Friday afternoon. And as DeMint loyalists clean out their desks and after one board member, Todd Herrick, resigned in protest, Heritage has still issued no official statement.

Less than 24 hours before Needham arrived at Fox News' D.C. studios, Heritage vice president of personnel, Wes Dyck, sent a staff-wide email warning employees not to talk to the press.

WTF?

Actually I said, "What the Hell!?!?!?" when I read the headline.  Serious damage to the "Heritage brand" - they can't be that foolish.

Exactly!
Even if he's not a serious contender, Heritage needs to be out in front of this whole debacle, it's ridiculous that they didn't address this head on and stop any rumor before it starts.
Ya know, simple stuff like, "We're meeting to select from a short list of highly qualified Conservative candidates." How hard is that?
But no, this screams of total disarray and a huge lack of leadership within the organization. A House cleaning is in order, get rid of the squishies!!!

Is this guy trying to appeal to drunks and homeless men?

Another fashion statement, the shave-with-a-hair-clipper-look

Sure.... the homeless dude look

Get a haircut, put on a suit and tie, find someone that'll teach you how to carry yourself like a gentleman - we wouldn't have a slob like that at a picnic, he looks disgusting!

Just like I said, the org is in total disarray and it has everything to do with RINO. Comments mine...

1. The report states that Heritage is in "massive turmoil." That is not a good sign for the premiere conservative think-tank on the Right.

2. Heritage board members were irked that DeMint "made the think tank too bombastic and political."

Too political? Isn't that what they're all about, pushing the Conservative agenda? Guess not, now they want to support the Marxist Establishment GOP.
Do so Heritage, and you're dead to Conservatives!!!

Another board member said, "Jim brought everyone in from the Senate to Heritage and made it hyper-political. Heritage is also about civil society and culture. He's taken that off of the table."
Bull Shit you little squishy!

The report points out that DeMint inserted Heritage into various policy battles thus far in the Trump administration by scathingly attacking Congress for backing a bill that didn't repeal Obamacare. Heritage also attacked the border-adjustment tax proposal made by Paul Ryan.

3. The beginning of the end for DeMint was when the Republican Study Committee severed its alliance with Heritage.

But Demint is too political? What a load of shit, I'm done with Heritage!!!

They bring in a squishy friend here, and the guy brings in a RINO, the RINO brings in a liberal radical feminist - the organization runs so far off track, the founders wouldn't recognize it.

Just look at Liberty University in Lynchburg.  It's nothing like what it was 30 years ago.

Here are the culprits:

http://www.heritage.org/article/board-trustees

It would take some work to dig into the background of each one.
It might help to list them in order of appointment to the board.

The Board of Trustees is "the man behind the curtain" of most organizations.
They're the ones operating the controls,
while the CEO is "the wizard" that's shown to the public.

Everyone needs to know that most of the major corporations have HQs in NYC,
and that most of them have interlocking boards of directors.
They make decisions not for the good of the company of which they are a director,
they make decisions for the good of the collective group of people
who are on the boards of all the corporations!

This interlocking network also includes the boards of directors of the "mainstream" media.
So the TV networks, etc. are simply mouthpieces for this ruling clique.
The on air personalities, the editorial directors, etc.
are just hired propagandists for this ruling clique.
They also control the "entertainment" industry - movies and TV shows -
thereby flooding people's minds with the culture and values that
THEY want us to have!

This ruling clique also funnel billions of dollars to
"not for profit" foundations and universities
that write "scholarly" papers that rationalize the scams
this ruling clique inflicts on the rest of us.

And they also provide billions of dollars to the DC lobbyists,
who actually write the legislation that Congress passes into law!

So somebody needs to look into the connections between
Heritage Foundation's board and the rest of the ruling clique.
That's how they seize most of their power!
And the seizure is never seen before, during, or after power is seized!
It's all done out of sight of the rest of us!

Tracing it all out would be the ultimate act of investigative journalism!

Went through the list quickly and noted the change is recent with an influx of Millennial corporate connections.
Yep, Heritage has an infestation problem.

Heritage is no longer Conservative, and this should explain it all and just how out of touch they are.

"When DeMint went in, Heritage became very political. It changed from a highly respected think tank to just a partisan tool and more ideological — more of a tea party organization than a think tank," said Mickey Edwards, one of the organization's founding trustees and a former Republican congressman from Oklahoma.

I read that quote awhile back, or something very close to it - and wondered if the idea was to "raise awareness in the public realm" - attempt to bring in more $...?

Unknown RICH people on these foundations get weary of non-recognition and want to be 'more appreciated for their tireless work and donated time'.   Then they finally GET RECOGNITION, and either loathe the person who turned the spotlight their way, or pretend not to care (liking it entirely, if it's good).

Sort of like teenage girls going to Prom.   (spent all that money and time to look pretty, and nobody notices but the horny, filthy creeps!)

Hmmm, voices from decades past. Todd Herrick was no surprise. He sold his grandfather's Tecumseh Products just to be rich and self-important. The legacy of distaste remains heavy in the town he screwed over by that sale.

I thought it exposed just how much of a bubble these DC morons dwell in. They believe leftist media when they say we're nothing but a bunch of hicks, clingers of bibles and guns that want to bring back slavery.
Only true Conservatives know what it means to be TEA and only real working people know what it means to be a real Conservative.
Heritage is packed full of a bunch of phonies, just like the RNC.

Wow!   Wasn't that 1970s or early 1980s?  There was quite an upheaval in the small engine business, if I remember right.
The only new technology was the breakerless ignition in the mid 1980's, they were stagnant in innovation.
