Would we actually be allowed a glimpse of a real espionage ring ? I doubt it, anymore than the full story on JFK, or 9-11, or whatever.
Would it be quietly bargained down to an innocuous series of illegal uses of technology / etc. ? I'm thinking so.
It's starting to look like at least 20-25 people in an actual espionage mess, either payoffs or blackmail. But I just can't believe it will see the light of day.
