What a loser. Here's a guy who goes from thirty-year senatorial monument to turncoat Democrat and then to Democrat primary loser in an election won by a Republican in just one term.

Republican-turned-Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., used his final Senate floor speech Tuesday to take a less-than-subtle jab at his old party, claiming that conservative Republicans who recently supported tea party challengers over establishment candidates engaged in political cannibalism.

"Eating or defeating your own is a form of sophisticated cannibalism," Specter said.

I guess Arlen should know about such things.

The traitor got exactly what he deserves, a humiliating defeat at the hands of those he betrayed.

I think Specter and Charlie Crist and "Jumpin' Jim" Jeffords -- a real Vermont sort of Republican -- should form a club or something, and take every last turncoat and RINO with them to their clubhouse on some other planet.
