The man can barely form a coherent sentence.. He's been placed within a scandal he can't escape. If Iowa and New Hampshire have anything to show as a future indication of his polling then he is more then certainly going to be suspending his campaign fast and with a great fury.

The media propped him up and continuously attached him to Obama. Then he got in and opened his mouth.

Biden tanked because he doesn't have the cerebral capacity, desire to run, or access to the dark money he and his predecessor had before.  He has to actually raise cash from Americans, which is much harder than he could have imagined.

China can't carry him like they could  before with eyes on the banks, most of who are seeing lots of arrests (been pretty quite under the main stream).  But, he's only in the race to evade the DOJ.

I don't think the support was ever there. Biden ran solely to protect himself and his family from what he knew was coming. The first story had been released tying Hunter to Burisma and Ukraine in May 2019, even if the story broke AFTER he announced his candidacy, he knew what was coming. ..
It was a hail mary on Bidens part, never any hope of winning.

AM, I agree.  I believe that his support was always soft; his polling was higher before because of name recognition.  But once the leftists started actually looking into the candidates, they figured out that Creepy Joe was a corrupt, gaffe prone geezer who paws at women on stage. I also wonder if the Dems' little sham impeachment made a few leftists have second thoughts.

The Jeb Bush comparison is spot on....a weak establishment candidate in a time when no one want one.

It's 2016 all over again. The polls are rarely right.

How did he go from such a massive lead in the late fall/dec to where he is now...thoughts?

He counted on support from minorities but so far the states that has had their primaries or caucuses are not diverse. SC will be his last stand. He also represents the past to many and not always a fond one.  His ideas are stale. So many factors and as someone mentioned, did he really have much support to begin with? The debates gave the others a chance to show what they had to offer. (not much). The party was hijacked by the far left and old Joe although he tries to be part of it, is viewed as a moderate. I'm sure there are more reasons. JMHO

Nailed it. Why the democrats (and republicans) start off the primary race with those two states is beyond me. And then we have the press telling us its all over if a candidate does not win those. I think biden will do better after Nevada because he can not do much worse, after SC, super Tuesday is right around the corner, might as well stay in for that, as long as he is running he stays out of jail. Does biden have a huge support?, of course not, none of the dems do, if they did boy pete would not be up there getting votes for the only reason that nobody knows him.

Brokered convention? Mini-Mike anointed by the DNC? Bernie screwed again? May very well be where we're headed.

Any time I see "brokered convention" I keep hoping to see hilaries name in that sentence. Can you imagine the excitement that old bag would bring to the convention? I can just imagine how excited bernie and his followers would be.
