Yep, just Like I toldja folks, legalizing a drug is not going to take the thuggery out of it.

Two idiots tried to rip off a now legal drug dealer and got themselves shot.

Yeah, I laughing.  The problem is they don't have enough freedom YET.  Give them freedom to cultivate and sell it, and that'll solve all of our problems--we'll even forget that we reelected Obama!

QuoteWhile the law passed in November made it legal to carry and consume marijuana, Sgt. Sean Whitcomb of the Seattle Police Department said cultivating and selling the drug outside of medical dispensaries is still a crime.

"When you're engaged in that type of criminal activity, there is an element of risk," Whitcomb told ABC News Friday.

The legislation leaves Washington in a "murky place," Whitcomb said. Smokers who have purchased marijuana from a street dealer are in the clear.

But the dealer "is still committing a felony," he said.

'Honest citizens' don't break the law by having illegal pot processing/growing facilities in their back yard against FEDERAL LAW.

Ah, now there is the rub, isn't it?

I would contend that the Federal Law that prohibits growing and possessing pot is itself illegal; although the proper term would be "Unconstitutional".

Again, it all gets back the 14th Amendment. It was never meant to give the Federal Government Carte Blanche to write any irrational unreasonable laws it likes and then impose them on the States.

I'm not going to debate constitutionality of drug laws.

You have thugs, hoodlums, terrorists and lowlifes involved in this trade 'legal' or not, you always will no matter what.

It is what it is.

And when the Congress pass a bill to confiscated all firearms and the president signs it into law - and it is upheld by the heavily Liberalized SCOTUS...

Then will you consider discussing the "Constitutionality" of Federal Law? Or will you just roll over and give Uncle Sugar all of your firearms?

They will take yours and you will willingly give them up when they do.  Once they required "registration", they know who the enemy of the State is.  They gave them up in New Orleans and you will when Obama sends his goons to take yours.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. I will give up my registered firearms.

You'll have to do better than that if you want to make a legitimate arguement.

The second amendment guarentees me the right to own a firearm....what Amendment have you found that guarentees you the right to possession Narcotics?

You don't think that Obama and his minions will find a way around the 2nd Amendment?

Irrelevant.

It will rapidly assume relevance when the Government comes for your guns. One day Federal law enforcement officers, perhaps former co-workers of yours, will knock on your door (if you're lucky, otherwise they will just bash it in with a battering ram) and demand all of your weapons.

If you refuse or try to resist they will kill you.

I think that is a little more relevant than whether or not pot is legal, don't you?

 good answer.  Registration is unconstitutional.  The government is supposed to fear the Citizen, not the other way around

Our rights dont come from "amendments."

My natural liberty gives me the right to do whatever I want up until I harm someone else.
