Being born on American soil is not all it takes.  Birthright citizenship has limits.  If you read what I posted of the 14th amendment; "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."  This would show you that in addition to being born in the USA, one has to be subject to the jurisdiction of the USA.  This is also why people like the children of diplomats are not birthright citizens in the USA.
