Americans for a Conservative Direction
« on: May 28, 2013, 04:21:10 PM »
I don't know how many of you listen to talk radio regularly, but I am really getting tired of the commercials being run by the group "Americans for a Conservative Direction.

They use Rubio and Ryan to push this Amnesty crap. They tell us our immigration system is "broken", and I am really tired of hearing that.  They ask you to call your Congressman to "fix our 'broken' immigration laws."

They run these commercials on Limbaugh's show and Hannity's. Seems like every 15 minutes.

Their arguments seem more like it's coming from LIBERALS and what they think will appeal to a Conservative.

What's a little funny, is that none of these talkshow hosts support the  Rubio/Every Democrat plan.

Of the Republicans that support this thing, it's the Wallstreet Journal, Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations that can profit from cheap labor.

I'm tired of all these people and organization plotting to destroy the country for short term profit.

If you haven't heard the commercial, you can watch it here.

http://www.americansforaconservativedirection.com/  From everything I can dig up, this group is funded by Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) and is a front group for his FWD.us (trying the same tactics but appealing to Libtards.  What the hell happened to Marco?

I'd be curious to see how/where their money is going....

I don't know Mark Zukerberg's politics, but he's NOT a Conservative. The domain name of his parent immigration organization tells me that  http://www.fwd.us/ (FWD as in Forward).

Mr Limbaugh and Mr Handytittie may not support the message but they damned sure support the bucks that are paid to run the messages.

Any one who wants an immigration plan where we welcome in cheap labor is not a conservative but an opportunist.  When I call a major US communications company for help the first thing I have to do it press 1 for english, it make me sad that this is where we have arrived.  When I go to China I can't press 1 for English.;  They don't put up with that BS.

I don't know, I heard Rush talking to Rubio and he seemed to willing to throw softballs to him over the immigration bill, it was extremely disappointing.

You said you haven't listened since you heard the commercial. I have. Daily. He may not be disrespectful to Rubio, but he talks about the dangers of this bill daily. They all do.  I haven't heard the commercial on Beck, or Levin -- yet.

If that's the one where Rubio said the House is controlled by conservative Republicans, then I'm not only pissed at Rush for not jumping on that, but just at Rubio as well.  What a complete disapointment.

IMO Just as Colin Powell supported Obama because of his race, I believe Marco Rubio is doing the same thing.  He is Latino (Cuban) and while that is not a race, he  is backing this amnesty bill because of his sympathy with Latinos.

It seems that if you scratch the surface of either of these men, you find something other than what is best for the United States.
I voted for the American.

So what am I missing. These people work hard becoming rich. And then somewhere along the line forget how they got where they are?

They become elites. However, with Gates from the state of Washington and Zuckerberg from CA they were probably libs anyway.

A lot of people have forgotten where they come from, most of our country fall into that catagorey.  If we remember how we got here we would not be in decline.  I feel sorry for my grandchildren for the condition I am leaving this country in.

Mark Levin addressed this topic today. He mentioned that they are being pushed by the Far Left (including Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates)

He said they (talk show hosts) have no control over these being played over their networks.

This morning I started hearing these commercials on a Christian radio station.

I believe these are the same left-wing scammers going after THIS market. These leftists have no shame.

He's right, excepting Rush and the EIB network, which bugged the Hell out of me.
