QuoteInformation technology workers at Southern California Edison (SCE) are being laid off and replaced by workers from India. Some employees are training their H-1B visa holding replacements, and many have already lost their jobs.

Just doing the jobs that American workers wont do. Oh,..............wait!!(sarc)

It's all about the Jarrett-Obama-Holder reparations.  Transfer the $ from undeserving Americans to the deserving turd-worlders.

The dear leader and his enablers are right on track and the plan is working just as it should. The RINO's in CONgress are no better than the `rats, they all want what the dear leader wants, destruction of the country and a huge welfare state.

This is disheartening.  Can we afford two more years of this?
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

This has been going on for quite a bit of time.  I'm frustrated every time I hear a conservative say that they're for increasing legal immigration for these hard-to-get areas that America just doesn't have.  Don't believe them. We are here.  The companies would just rather pay $25/hour for Indians than $100+/hour for us.  That was for remote work for them.

Over the years it has worked out (based on their failure to deliver) but if we increase the number of visas in the technical fields then we will see more reduction of Americans' wages.

All this is the Chamber of Commerce wanting cheaper labor.  When people hear that they usually think of low-level workers.  But you have to realize that it's high-end workers as well.

Part of the appeal to working in the technical fields is the amount of money you can make.  They complain that the US does not have enough people in these fields but if you lower the amount you can make then you will have even less.  I did not get into this field for the money but it was part of my decision.  I also thought to major in French and Poli Sci.  Lol.  I think I chose correctly.

But as I said with all the people who voted for taxes on cigarettes, watch out -- you will be next.  Now they are taxing sugar in Berkeley.
