Howdy Folks
Well we have seen the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 it is a stepping stone to the wholesale reduction of Federal Taxes on American Citizens.
In reducing the long term tax bill for the American Working and Middle Class the Federal Income Tax Threshold should be raised to $150,000.
Eliminating the Income Tax Burden on the American Middle Classes who have been over taxed by Liberal Politicians.
The Federal Gasoline Tax should be abolished because folks it is time to end the liberal war on American Families who own and drive a automobile.

Why do you want to punish the wealthy?
I wasnt advocating punishing the wealthy as the tax reductions already implemented under the Tax and Jobs Act would remain.
I believe in lower taxes for the maximum number of people
Thank You for your contribution it was most appreciated

Income taxes should be eliminated.
Yes they should
Taxation is Theft
Flat Tax or nothing
Gas taxes are fine if they are used on infrastructure and are not raised simply because the government missuses the revenue.

Is the gas tax state ran or federally ran?
I don't know about infrastructure. Don't we already pay for the roads?

Yes we do through gas taxes and tolls.
The gas tax is a perfect example of a states issue. Every state's infrastructure needs are different. They should be taxed accordingly and the fed should not receive a dime.

Tolls are unconstitutional. We already paid for those roads.
Gas taxes shouldn't be an unequal percentages. It's the same gas. Same cars. Same roads. Different rate?
Plus, truck drivers shouldn't have to pay (that much) to drive because they buy enough fuel to fix plenty of roads.

Both states and the feds charge road taxes. The problem is in most jurisdictions the pols see these funds as a slush fund like was done to the SS Trust Funds.
In reducing the complexity of the tax system and reducing the number of tax brackets there should be 1 rate 16% on income above $150,000.
In coordinating the American Tax Reduction Act the Federal Government would distribute monies accumulated at Federal level to States for the purpose of reducing 3 key tax structures.
State Income Tax Thresholds to increase to a minimum $20,000 per year
State Sales Taxes to be reduced by a minimum 2%
State Fuel Duties to be reduced by a minimum of 10cents

A Fair Tax could eliminate all of that, and everyone would pay, but the beauty of it is you could avoid tax altogether if you're poor by buying used everything, you're only taxed if you buy new.
I'm moving this to Finance where it belongs.

The FairTax is the best solution overall. It eliminates the IRS and turns everyone with a pulse into a taxpayer by eliminating income taxes.
The Bill of Rights should also include an amendment imposing balanced budgeting on the Federal Government.
We need to reduce the welfare expenditures that previous administrations have committed American Taxpayers to.
Should we have an amendment that protects the individual citizen from arbitrary taxation setting out the limit to the amount of an individual dollar that the Federal Government can take in tax.
We believe in defending the Right to Freedom of Speech and the 2nd Amendment we need to defend our right to own our own money.

We can just repeal the Sixteenth Amendment, which is a pre-requisite for the FairTax.
Well folks shall we commence a media assault on the liberal media and using our friends in the Conservative media to announce our
American Tax Reduction, Replacement and Elimination Act.
I can locate all the contact addresses for the newspapers then forum members can write in explaining their reasons for repealing the 16th.
