Wow.....I hate to hear about motorcycle accidents. It's a very tough call as to what to do when someone cuts in front of you at that any rate of speed.

My heart and prayers go out to Allen West.

I know everyone is wondering, was it an accident?
He did just leave a GOOP rally, and we know how crazy libs are...

Libs are freakin nuts and since West is a threat, nothing is out of the question. Hell, it could a RINO even, OK, same thing.
I've been searching all morning and there's no updates, no mention of the driver, which raised my suspicions.

I'm trying to hide this news of this accident from my wife so she doesn't get the "For Sale" out. I love my Harley.

Team West here with the latest update as reported in the official press release posted this morning:

On his drive back from the "Free Texas Rally" in Austin, TX, Lt. Col. Allen West was involved in an accident when a car cut in front of him. He is recovering, in stable condition, and has his family with him.

Local law enforcement reported that "an unidentified vehicle changed lanes when unsafe in front of two motorcyclists. The motorcyclist attempted to brake, and the rear motorcyclist crashed into the front motorcyclist. Both motorcyclists were transported to Baylor Scott and White in Waco to be treated for non-life threatening injuries."

Allen West is currently dealing with a concussion, several fractured bones, and multiple lacerations. Though these injuries are serious, Lt. Col. West stated, "I am alive by the grace of God."

He plans to continue to be a proponent for freedom and the state of Texas, and will resume his normal calendar of activities as given clearance by his medical team.

LTC West thanks the public for their well-wishes and outpouring of support, and continued prayers on his behalf are appreciated.

Lt. Col. Allen West to Be Released from Hospital

Lt. Col. Allen West is set to be released from the hospital, Baylor Scott & White, today. He is in good spirits and is looking forward to returning home for his recovery.

The West family is filled with such joy and thankfulness that Allen will be released on this Memorial day. All of the prayers and well wishes have been received and greatly appreciated. However, Allen and his family want the public to focus on remembering and honoring America's fallen warriors on this day.

After his recovery, Allen plans to continue to serve America's founding principles and to advocate for conservative ideals.
