Alex did a great job though I always pictured him as a tall skinny blonde nerd.

I think at one time he was...

Many years ago!

If by "destroys" one means ""looked like an unhinged lunatic" then yes, correct.

While Piers Morgan is a schmuck, Alex Jones, as usual, succeeded in only making the right look insane.

When did old Jonsey begin speaking for the right?

Liberal logic supports the fact that he isn't an Husein supporter, therefore he is a conservative?
I've always seen him as a libertarian, if anything, the kind that hates all Govt.

Wow. This seems like a case of arguing just to argue. Is it bash the new guy day?

Alex Jones isn't a liberal or leftie by any definition. He seeks smaller government, holds many libertarian views, and often argues in favor of the Constitution. Sounds pretty right wing to me and probably to most objective observers. Just because he's a conspiracy nut and clearly in need of a yoga class doesn't make him any less right wing.

(Now, where do I wash up? I feel dirty having to defend Jones in even a roundabout way).

Of course! All of us righties look the same to you! There not one whit of difference between Ronald Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones or David Duke as far as you are concerned.

kramarat

The leftist media machine is attempting, (successfully), to affix Jones' face and views to the entire conservative movement. It was the only reason he was invited to appear on Morgan's show..............as a pawn.

Ad hominem much? What a weak attempt at a drive-by insult. That is usually a tactic reserved for the left. It will be a pleasureto correct your false assumptions.

1. I'm as conservative as they come, Mr. Eyeroller. I have voted for the Republican presidential nominee in every election in which I was eligible to vote, a period of decades. I'm in my mid-40's now. Furthermore, I visit twitchy, Brietbart, and the Blaze daily. I listen to Limbaugh when I can and download Levin directly off his website. I read Coulter, Thomas Sowell, Michelle Malkin, David Limbaugh, and a host of other conservative/libertarian/Republican columnists on sites like Human Events. I actively follow the same on twitter. My free time is spent learning and studying conservatism.

2. Of course there is a HUGE difference between the people you listed above. Reagan, for instance, was the greatest president of my lifetime. But, as I posted previously, to claim that Alex Jones isn't right wing is to ignore facts or to not understand politics. You may not agree with some/many of Jones' positions. I certainly don't. But he's on the right of the political spectrum. That was my point. I never lumped Rush Limbaugh and Alex Jones together.

Which places Jones on the right of the political spectrum. I never called him a conservative (he isn't), but he's definitely on the right.

Using the left-right view of the political spectrum is kind of inaccurate, a scale based on the coordinate plane is better. In order to label someone you need to analize and understand their beliefs and why they believe them. If keeping it simple is prority, the statist-non-statist scale is the best. Jones is certainly a non-statist, but not necessarily a conservative.

I never said you did, but just because he hates Govt does not place him on the right side of the scale.
There are a lot of libs that distrust or even hate Govt, some even identify with Libertarians, but again, that doesn't place them on the right side of the scale.

Conservatives believe in Govt, just a small intrusive one.
