Which isn't really true, many of the kids were lead to believe it was to mourn those killed.

But that story doesn't fit the leftist narrative, now does it?

So I thought I post about the reality of the situation, that a handful of kids walked out, compared to the majority that stayed in class like they are supposed to.

I know, lets outlaw dog attacks while we're at it. Oh wait, we have laws against that as well.

So basically what we have here is a leftist lie hyped way out of proportion.

My thoughts on the "walkout" after some reflection is sadness. I think initially it was a sincere expression of grief and disbelief by a lot of young people. That is a worthy thought and effort. However, the left being what they are jumped on an opportunity and hijacked the entire movement. The left has no shame (Remember the Wellstone memorial?) and they will try to take advantage of any tragedy to forward their agenda. 

Local idiots used their little gathering yesterday, to tear the flag down and rip it up.

This morning a few decent youngsters and adults gave it a second try and had the band play the anthem, raise the flag, and have a moment of silence.

Seems like they decided that it all evens out.  Really should have the little peckers from yesterday arrested, and given road cleanup for a year.

Nobody noticed in Virginia unless it was Fairfax county. My Son says that kids up there had to have a permission slip from the parents to walk out of school if not they got two days suspension etc etc. There were some walkout but a lot of kids stayed in school.

Now I'm wonder how many "professional" protesters joined the ranks disguised as "high school kids"? If I were a parent and I discovered that any of these organized entities in any way shape or form influenced my child to take part in a "walkout" or join a protest I'd have their ass on a silver platter....double that for the school system that would permit a child to mingle in such ranks....it poses an EXTREME RISK to children anywhere, especially if these ANTIFA or BLM idiots are involved

All these kids protested in front of the capital yesterday and it was so pathetic how the democrats rushed outside to take advantage of the free publicity.

The good news is this school walkout story is now old news. Once again the left tried to hijack a moment and it went nowhere.

Yep, literally, a one day event narrative failure. If it had been a success, we'd have seen it all next week as well.
My guess, the left discovered continuing was more damaging than they had calculated, that they were being exposed too much and needed to stop immediately.

Don't forget the places where all the kids could go out unrestricted, the teachers that didn't want to go were exposed to their Liberal teachers union (risking their jobs).

Most schools have cameras in the rooms, so it's possible they caught her red handed.

Lots of students holding lots of signs. Many signs showed how students could benefit from more history class. But there is one sign going viral on the interwebs. Both the school principal and the police got involved.
