Yesterday i overheard 2 fellow workers disgusted about how much taxes they have to pay. Needless to say they are both democrats and we have had friendly political disagreements before. I asked why they keep voting for people who want to tax them even more though i doubt if it even registered.

Sure we need landfills, but not in my neighborhood. With libs, the same is true with taxes: we need taxes to fund our giveaways, but don't tax me.

Govt cannot grow the economy, it can only get out of it's way. Granted, that's in a capitalist society, something we're moving away from very quickly.
