I heard about this last Spring, but totally forgot about it, so here it is.

It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing to take a stand on his and Austrilia's beliefs.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..

Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:

'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. '

Would an English-As-Official-Language issue prevent or spark a Constitutional Convention? It's looking like balanced budget amendment time is drawing near, too. That's a double-header Dems should lose sleep over.

Yes I remember this coming out at the time.  Did put a  :) on my face at the time. 

Solar, you and I have talked on several occasions about my desire to retire to Australia. Now I want to do it even more.

Wow....  I would move there too...

   That happened a while ago...and I was amazed and happy the aussies did that...

  Its seems muslims have an international plot ot take over the world one country at a time.
They could never get a strong foothold here...until our muslim in chief got in two years ago

I'm ready to make the move!  We could have a "CPF caravan" to Australia.

Damn shame that my father didn't accept the aerospace engineering job he was offered in Australia back when I was about 12 years old.  I remember our whole family going to a presentation by the Australia-based company my dad could have worked for, but he decided not to accept the job.

Dammit, I could have been an Aussie for the the past 42 years!  Shrimp on the barby and all of that good stuff!
