Why hasn't this occurred to the GOP and every Republican who is jumping on the Trump bandwagon?
Do they think 65% of the electorate is going to think, "well, Donald was a one-off, so you can trust us now...."
The GOP was smart enough not to give a single vote for Obama-care, but then so dumb as to not defund it.

The Donald actually does want national security.

And what is Trump's solution? More government interference. The problem is, government taxes industry to death, places unnecessary environmental demands on it, taxes it's imports of raw material, even jails people for buying products it deems endangered, even though the host country has laws in place to protect said product.
This nation is supposed to see that the rules are in place for fair trade as well as free trade, and Trump like his leftist predecessors wants to use it like a weapon to punish those we do business with, instead of opening trade with other nations in turn creating yet more competition.
Fact is, Trump is a child where free trade is concerned.
