I am glad to hear it but ......

if this wasn't election season for the presidential candidates, I doubt that Rubio would have done this.

He is wanting to stand out from the pack and win favor with the voters.

But Israel deserves our support...... for whatever reason!

I wonder how the Democrats will handle this.

That is absolutely right!!!!  They can no longer hide behind Harry Reid.  He protected them by keeping tons of Bills off the table.  Now they no longer have a shield.  The constituents will be able to see their votes on critical issues or they will avoid voting.  And the opponents in the next elections can use those votes or failure to vote in their political ads!
