Title: 75-Year-Old Vet Acquitted of Illegally Hanging Flags LA

It's time to get rid of the VA, they are not advocates for Vets, in fact, they have become the complete opposite.
Yes, time to turn it over to the private sector, our own govt has become an adversary.

75-Year-Old Vet Acquitted of Illegally Hanging Napkin-Sized Flags at West LA Veterans Affairs Office

A 75-year-old military veteran was acquitted Tuesday of illegally hanging an American flag on the fence of a Veterans Affairs facility in West Los Angeles without permission.
The federal misdemeanor count against Robert Rosebrock stems from a VA statute that prohibits the posting of materials or "placards'' on a VA property except when authorized by the head of the facility.

Rosebrock was cited on Memorial Day 2016 for allegedly displaying two napkin-sized American flags on a fence adjacent to the "Great Lawn Gate'' entrance to the Veterans Park. He and fellow veterans have been assembling at the site nearly every Sunday and Memorial Day for the past nine years to protest what they believe is the VA's failure to make full use of the expansive property for the benefit and care of veterans, particularly homeless veterans.
At the conclusion of a bench trial, U.S. Magistrate Judge Steve Kim found Rosebrock not guilty of the violation, which carries a maximum six-month prison sentence. The judge concluded that no evidence was presented showing Rosebrock lacked permission to post the flags or that Rosebrock had displayed them in the first place.

Rosebrock said outside court that he was "honored that the flag was exonerated -- and for once the veterans got a victory.''

That prosecutor has some 'splainin' to do there! Without those two elements, there is no case.

Unfortunately the VA has become nothing more than an advocate for federal worker unions. It needs to blown up and built from the ground with a mission to assist veterans.

Yeah, the prosecutor sounds like a little leftist shooting for recognition from the dim party, doesn't he?

Exactly! There was a time when they actually advocated for better treatment of Veterans, now VA is an acronym for Vaginal Abhorrence.

Several people need to be lined up, made to bend over, grab their ankles and receive a well aimed kick dead square in the ass with a size 13 1/2 combat boot. They are:

The director of the Va at the site or whoever else was in charge who likely ordered this charge
The little shit head Va cop who actually made the charge
The little shit head Va Cop's supervisor for permitting him to make the charge
The Prosecutor for accepting the case.

Somebody in position of authority likely directed the Va cops to charge him, the Va cops should have told whomever to pound sand,  but instead they sent some little weasel to go out and make a charge. From what I remember about Federal regulations of this sort they come under code of Federal regulations, a violation of which results in a citation or ticket being issued with a demand for a court date, much like a traffic ticket. I doubt there was a full custodial arrest.

What ticks me off about this whole thing is I guarantee you if some leftist Asshole were out there burning a flag or taking a crap on the flag they would have done nothing.

Anyhow Justice was done
