It's true that America has probably created the best socialist state ever.  Nobody has ever cared for their poor better, and allowed an endless parade of bums to steal whatever happens to be given to the truly needy.  Just like America has beaten down slavery and racism better than any society ever.

But the marxists still hate it, because it also still allows for riches and personal property to be created, and non-government concerns to still own some of the welfare / generosity.  Especially that evil, evil religion.

More liberal juvenile foolishness.  Don't be happy with the best welfare and safety net ever created in world history.  Stay mad about your jealousy and covetousness.

Anger and petty jealousy is all a liberal has. They thrive on it, leaping instantly on the smallest act of dissent within their hives. They eviscerate anyone NOT from their hive. They cannot exist without consensus and avoidance of responsibility.

OK... sure.  But it's important to point out that the "best" Socialist state is precisely synonymous with the "least" Socialist state.

You can look it up, country by country, taxes as a fraction of GDP.  Whoever has the free-est economy is also the "best" in terms of every imaginable criterion.

The thing that seems to truly separate American socialism from that of Eurasian socialism is that American socialism allows huge numbers of people to live out their lives without ever working. Socialism in Europe and Asia is alternatively based on making sure that everyone works for what the State gives them rather than being allowed to shop, eat, breed, and sleep for a living like the welfare bums do here in America.

I will re-post what I believe would reduce the numbers on welfare. If someone is on welfare, and not disabled, they owe the government 40 hours a week. With stretched budgets I am sure we could find something for these people to do 8 hours a a day. I would think you would find a lot of folks would go out and find something else to do. I just don't believe we should be paying healthy people to sit front of a TV drinking cokes, eating potato chips and watching ET.

So much for b o economy.....

Poverty stuck at 15 percent _ record 46.5 million

snip~
WASHINGTON (AP) — The nation's poverty rate remained stuck at 15 percent last year despite America's slowly reviving economy, a discouraging lack of improvement for the record 46.5 million poor and an unwelcome benchmark for President Barack Obama's recovery plans.

More than 1 in 7 Americans were living in poverty, not statistically different from the 46.2 million of 2011 and the sixth straight year the rate had failed to improve, the Census Bureau reported Tuesday. Median income for the nation's households was $51,017, also unchanged from the previous year after two consecutive annual declines, while the share of people without health insurance did improve but only a bit, from 15.7 percent to 15.4 percent.

"We're in the doldrums, with high poverty and inequality as the new normal for the foreseeable future," said Timothy Smeeding, an economics professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison who specializes in income inequality. "The fact we've seen no real recovery in employment and wages means we've just flatlined."

The ONLY good thing about the Soviet mass-murder machine was the gallows humor it engendered:  "Our system is perfectly fair.  We pretend to work, and the government pretends to pay us!"  If the Chinese mass-murder machine ever had jokes like that, the humor just doesn't translate.

As for America, you're neglecting our massive and exponentially expanding "civil" "service" "worker" population.  The liberal movement here started with a handful of wildly over-privileged Bohemians, who (somehow) convinced normal people to create a perpetual underclass of hypothetically under-privileged Welfare recipients.  But the American Socialist movement now comprises the unproductive rich, the unproductive poor and - for the first time in the history of the world - an unproductive middle class, which is rapidly becoming an unproductive upper-middle class.

So American Communists all have something in common.  But it has nothing to do with either income level, or the requirement to occasionally show up at a specific location.

Our incredible economic engine of democracy, capitalism, entrepreneurship, and private property made us rich beyond anything the world had ever seen.

So we became profligate and totally irresponsible with spoiling our liars, cheaters, thieves, and bums, just because we had the money to do so.

Just as rich folks usually do with their kids.

Now that we've spent even more than we can generate for the last 10-20 years, and we've got leaders actively sabotaging the capitalist engine, the spoiling of the kids is over.

Gonna be a lot of caterwauling and "I hate you" coming down the pike, from the spoiled bums when the free toys and free money go away.
