Won't try to explain it. Not my place to.

I will suggest with a 13 Trillion Buck debt and a deficit going out of sight, and over 100 Trillion in future unfunded debt, any fool that believes reducing spending alone will eliminate the debt we pass on to our kids, is living in la-la land. Can not and will not happen, especially with a FED that can print money faster than an elephant with diahrea can crap.

That statement contradicts everything the teaparty stands for....not picking an argument shooter just making an observation

Exactly how? Have that many of the Tea Party been drinking the Kool Aid? I support the Tea Party in it's overall efforts, but can they not see past the ends of their billfolds? Forget the Tea Party, Zip, and tell me what you think.

Short of national default, will spending cuts alone alleviate the deficit and debt problems staring us in the face. If so, how? And please, no clap trap about enhanced revenue. Where will all of that enhanced revenue go? Reducing the debt? I call BS.

BTW, if we default, what do you think will happen?

I am still awaiting a link, BTW. Not saying that Paul did not do as said, just want to see it and a link to his reasoning.

So let me get this straight, Shooter.  You believe that one way to help pay for Obama's spending spree is to tax the people who own and operate businesses, tax the people who have worked hard and have been rewarded with success, tax the people who decide whether or not to create jobs or eliminate jobs, and tax the people who are considered "rich" because they make over $250K a year (even though in many parts of the country, $250K a year is barely above "middle class")?

Shooter, you obviously believe in the redistribution of wealth, which therefore makes you a Marxist, right?

For someone to think that taxing the rich is somehow not going to transfer to the consumer, is living in lala land.
The rich aren't rich simply by virtue of heritage, most of their wealth comes from businesses they've developed.

The rich will find a way to hide their wealth, but to punish them with higher taxes, is merely moving the burden onto the consumer/taxpayer.

Eventually taxes will be raised across the board. It is an inevitability if we are ever to get back on a sound financial footing and not leave our excesses to our future unborn progeny. You know it, I know it, and everyone with an IQ greater than their shoe size knows it.

It is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. You can dance around him all night long, but eventually you have to take him home.

We can talk about higher taxes until we're blue in the face. We can talk about reducing spending likewise. Reducing spending will not take place in any meaningful manner that will repay the 110+ Trillion problem. If anyone thinks it will, I am more than willing to listen, but please none of this 'just because shit.' BTW, F**k anyone that thinks I'm a Marxist. F**k 'em in spades!

It's not about the billfold Shooter.  It's about keeping our personal property and what's right and wrong.

"Childish playground antics", Shooter?  Is that your "official" response?  If it is, then you obviously can't defend your position, which is understandable.

It's fine to be a fan of Ron Paul, or a fan of Sarah Palin, or a fan of whoever else, but when these people screw up and do something that needs to be questioned, and they need to provide an explanation for, then it's time for their "fans" to be INTELLECTUALLY HONEST, step up to the plate, and QUESTION the politicians they admire so much.

Your response is usually typical of a left wing waterhead over at the LNF.  Frankly, I'm very surprised.

Be as surprised as you want to be. Feign that bull shit all you want. When you attack me, expect it back. Show me a link as to what Paul did, but honestly, this is beyond Paul now. I made a reasoned statement and got shit from you. Show me how we can solve the country's dilemma without raising taxes. Show me if you can. Attack me with more Marxist shit, and I'll be right back with more of the same.

Surprised? Yeah, I was surprised at your attack.

Geeez settle down, no one is calling you a Marxist.
My issue is fairness, but to tax someone just because they have worked harder in life, is nothing short of punishment.
The Country is not about punishing, but rewarding those that contribute to society.

Debt or no debt, we are all equally responsible, why should the rich be more responsible?

I said unequivocally taxes will have to be raised across the board. Nothing about the rich, or punishing anyone.

You know my response.

Please don't say no one called me a Marxist, and please don't say I want to punish the rich. Please don't put words in my mouth. If you don't like what I say, fine, that's your choice, but I do not appreciate unwarranted attacks.

Hopefully this pissing contest is over.

This is what I THINK shooter...I believe they should extend the tax cuts for everyone temporarily that means ALL the tax cuts for every bracket...say 3 yrs. The GOP should assure they cut as much as they can of the SHIT and waste once they demonstrate they have cut fundamentally all the could...and we BELIEVE Them...then evaluate if thats enough to do the job. If they demonstrate to me that they have made cuts in federal spending as deeply as they can and its still not enough...then they can take my tax break TEMPORARILY till the debt is down.
