Again, exactly correct!

It was feared that if any rights of the people were spelled out in the Constitution it would be assumed that those were the only rights the people had!

And, looking around us, I see that the framers fears were well founded!

In fact, it has gone far beyond that. Entirely too many people, today, believe that their rights are granted by the Government!

And, as we all know, what the Government gives, the Government can take away!

Prezactly and excisely! Thus the 10th Amendment! It could have been written this way: "The first nine amendments can't hope to address all the natural rights of free men, so you can just assume that anything not covered reverts to the States and/or the people."

Our rights are the ones we were born with. It is our duty as free people to defend them against enemies foreign and -- most especially -- domestic.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. -- Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; IT IS FORCE. -- George Washington

The 10th Amendment is routine ignored and will continue to be so until someone decides to enforce it.

Wallace tried to and look what happened to him!

George Wallace is a rather bizarre example to throw against current events, I think. In the Kenyan's case, with regard to immigration, we have a man trying to do a bad thing using powers he does not possess. In Wallace's case, we have a man trying to do bad things using powers that he did possess.

Looks to me as though Democrats through history attempt to do bad things with whatever tools are at hand.

The constitution is a statement of all the things the government can not do or interfere with.  It doesn't give rights or free stuff to people.

That's why Obama & crew hate the constitution.  # 1 it stops their dream of endless, massive govt......#2 it doesn't have enough euro union style promises, cradle-to-grave welfare, and bribes to the people.

Defacto rights are assumed, based on the various things the govt can not do.  But it's just not a list of promises and gifts.

Terribly vague and misleading as a whole in your attempt to create a straw man, but I'll give you a D for effort.
Oh really? Have you forgotten Clintoon's attempt to demonize militias in the wake of OKC? How about mass murder at Waco. How about the attempt to create "felonies", and apprehend "felons" at Ruby Ridge?
"LIBERALS: their willful ignorance is rivaled only by their catastrophic stupidity"!

THANK YOU!

I've linked before to information on the FBI's Operation PATCON - a concerted effort by the Government to infiltrate, discredit and destroy the Militia Movement! The answer I always get is, "Eh, so what?" (At least the polite answer are akin to that, the not so polite answers are not worth repeating)

Here is is again:

And, surprise, surprise, guess who was armpit deep into this attack on the Militia Movement - none other than or current (soon to be former) Attorney General - Eric Holder
