Nobody is going to work miracles, Even Ted as much as I am behind him, oh he will try his best but you got to remember we have a whole barrel full of idiots with both a D and an R after their name.

If you want to get America's economy moving again you have to have jobs, that mean you have to have the stupid Govt out of the way with their crushing set of regulations, AND you got to have a tax plan to reform Business taxes. corporate taxes and the like. Much as I dislike Trump he has a great point about bringing back trillions of dollars in overseas capital TAX FREE.....that much money, infused into the economy, will be a shot in the arm, hopefully meaningful employment will follow.

I also think Cruz is smart enough to figure out the same thing, now if you can just get it through congress.

It's not just politics that "hardly ever, attracts individuals of principle".

...and that too is why we are" in the condition we are in".

:scared:

Principled integrity seems to be limited these days to Bible thumpers!

The world sees no reason to be principled.

Kroz,
Fair enough as to Cruz,  but he is a rare exception.
Politics hardly ever, attracts individuals of principle.
We would not be in the condition we are, if it did.
Not to mention the GOP'e stifles Conservatives and keeps them out of leadership positions.
Yes, Cruz bucked them at every turn, which has been refreshing to watch indeed, especially when he called out McCONnel, calling him a liar.

Billy, Cruz is far smarter than Trump.  He can do anything Trump can do and then some.

He is shrewdly handling this campaign and will surprise Trump in the end.  Trump has yet to attack Cruz even though Cruz is in a statistical tie with Trump in Iowa.  Trump is smart enough to realize he should not mess with Cruz.

I realize that, yet Trump has the connections in the network of fabulously Rich guys who want to get richer club. And Yes even Trump knows not to mess with Cruz. Just Don't forget that old axiom about Age Treachery and deceit winning out over youth skill and ability every time.

Billy, the fabulously rich guys are competitors of Trump.  Why would they support him?

I don't follow your logic.

Trump has not attacked Cruz because Cruz has not attacked him! I really believe Trump respects Ted Cruz and has since the start of the campaign. Cruz is not as vocal as Trump about our southern Boarder but his views are real close to Trumps. On many of the most important issues they are not far apart.
Remember near the beginning of the campaign Trump said there were some on the stage with him he admired and respected. I think he was referring to Cruz! We will soon see as Cruz gains momentum if Trump goes on the offensive or if he treats Cruz different then the others! This will be interesting to watch!

Seriously, you think Trump got his money by dealing with poor people? These guys work hand in hand.

Trump got his money by using poor people to build his empire.  They are his contractors who build his casinos and golf courses, etc.

Why does he need rich people?  He uses his own money to build his empire.

I don't know if it is intentional or not but Trump has been a gods send to the Cruz campaign by knocking off the RINO's and giving Ted time to build his base. It would be funny as Hell if that was his intention from the beginning!
I still find it hard to believe Trump is serious about going all the way. I don't see him spending the time and money building his ground game in the critical big states. He comes down here to Florida but that's because it is Jeb and Rubio country and he is out to hurt them. How much time is he spending in the other big primary states? where are his workers and campaign offices? Where is his base? If Trump was a true serious movement we would start to see movement all over the country! I have never seen anything like this campaign year and can't for the life of me figure it out!

I certainly do not understand the dynamics but I think Trump is in this to win it.  He would not spend this amount of his own money if he did not intend to go the distance.... not to mention the time and effort involved.

Cruz has benefited by Trump's campaign but it is yet to be determined how this will end.

The people I'm talking about are Investors. Trump was talking about this during (I think) the first debates when he was asked about going bankrupt and he started talking about all the "killers" who lost money. this is an expression for extremely rich people, financiers etc.

Some of these contractors are not nickle dime chumps either, some of them are extremely wealthy.  Then of course you got you mob controlled unions, you know I always wondered how Trump worked things out with the mob......coz you can;t get a smidgen of concrete poured or a singe iron girder welded in NY or New Jersey without the okay and squeeze of some mobster

Trump has spent NOTHING! By most accounts he has received small donations amounting to most of his outlay his biggest expense has been fuel for his jet! Granted he hasn't had to lay out his money yet and he may be being frugal to use his money when it is really needed. He is either the smartest person in this race running a campaign on a shoestring or he isn't serious. One thing is if he could run our budget the way he runs his campaigns he could balance the budget in no time! How many millions have the rino's gone through to get nowhere!!

Hmm...  Think about it.
How much money can Trump legally give to Cruz campaign?    Yet by running interference for Cruz he can spend all he likes, and no one can stop him.   :sneaky:
